GTA3 Mission Help

Recommended Posts

I know the mission, in my opinion the hardest in any GTA.

The way i managed to get it:

Have at least five bullets on the rocket launcher and some smaller caliber weapons. When that cutscene starts with the letter from Catalina step out of the car as soon as possible. Have the rocket launcher preset as your weapon in hand. Blow up the bus on the left. Get your small caliber if there is a idiot walking from that direction and shoot him. Then run that way and turn around and shoot the two idiots walking towards you. Back to the rocket launcher and shoot the remaining two bussus. At this point no new people will come so you just have to shoot the remaining.

You can also shoot two busses out immediatly after you step out of the car. That depends on how steady your aim is. With this "tips" the missions is still very difficult. Advise is to only start it with full healt and armor so you could survive a blast that is close.

Good luck.

Glad I could help. The vids and (unless I'm mistaken) the whole site is done by Demarest. In case you're not familiar with Dem, he's a knowledgeable guy and pretty cool too.

Doin' my best to spread your wisdom Dem. I'm getting paid a commission, right? (ha, ha) tounge.gif See ya 'round.

You can find Blista at Asuka's Condo in Staunton Island. Also it sometimes appears when you do Vigilante and firetruck missions so you can get it early in game.

Mr Whoopee is very rare vehicle. It can drive around the streets but very rarely. Your best bet would be doing Vigilante/Firetruck missions and eventually one should appear. If you haven't passed I Scream You Scream mission for El Burro you can aquire Whoopee when doing it. Instead of blowing it, shoot the Mafia guys.

For pictures of vehicles check out Demarest's site as stated earlier.

The easiest way to get a Mr. Whoopie is to do the "You Scream, I Scream" mission from El Burro, and just waste the guys that come to the ice cream truck yourself, instead of blowing it up. If you've already done that mission, I've seen Mr. Whoopie trucks spawn in SSV, near the mansions. I've seen it there twice in the past week, but I don't recall seeing any there before that and I've played the game a lot.

The Blista is the Voyager type van, better version of the Moonbeam, with a crappy beeeeep noise for a horn like the Landstalker.

The Mr. Whoopee also spawns in Portland occasionally, I've seen one outside the hospital, at Hepburn Heights and near Punk Noodles. It's a bit harder than finding a Bus, Flatbed or Securicar in Portland though.

Easier still, do the Fire Truck mission to get a Whoopee van, or anything else that isn't a Dodo, a BF, or a big truck or bus. Ten times easier than the previous post, and doesn't fail any mission.

Technically you can get all vehicles to the Portland I/E garage, including the Dodo, due to a glitch (or two, on the PS2) that lets you actually go to the other two islands in the game. You can't complete the Shoreside one since you need a BF Injection which only spawns later in the game near the Turismo phone, and no-one drives one like in Vice City.

Thanks to the glitches, I have a very early PS2 save which has 20% completed, 6 bribes, ambulance level 12 done, a flamethrower and 1 unique jump in Shoreside by mistake while doing the Shoreside Fire Truck mission. Have done Patriot Playground, Multistorey Mayhem, and the first 3 missions (last mission done was Drive Misty For Me).

I got out of the car and sprinted towards the alley. There I shot the single bomber running towards me and headed west along the sidewalk. I then made a right into another alley where there's a carpark and stairs. I went up the stairs and shot and suicide bombers visible in the lot. I threw gernades at the two vans on the left side of the lot and then killed any remaining bombers. Then I dropped down and used my RPG to blow up the remaining van near the first alley. Killing the remaining bomber(s) was easy.

I love GTA, so many different ways to accomplish a single mission.

Another way to do the Kingdom Come mission, is to use the BP Cheetah, if you got one from Turismo icon14.gif Just drive there, park it close to the Esperanto and as soon as the first Madman from the Cutscene explodes, get out of the Esperanto and get in the BP Cheetah, then drive close to the vans and watch them explode as the Madmen get out of them dozingoff.gif

Or do it the long way, by driving in the compund and let them follow you out one by one and Snipe them from a distance, but of course, unless you blow up their van's, this will go on ____forever lol.gif
