MinFingr Posted December 13, 2006 Share Posted December 13, 2006 Hi all. i downloaded this and im trying to make it work. i downloaded a zip file that contained 3 .txt files. i put them in the ms:\Cheats folder and nothing happens. how do i know if it even works? is there anthing else i need to try. no readme came with the zip file, just the picture. MinFingr Posted December 13, 2006 Author Share Posted December 13, 2006 yep. 1.0, prx version. its in the cheats folder, and i tried putting them in both the cheats folder and a ms:\cheats\lcs folder. i saw a 'vcs' folder and gave that a try. nothing. how do i know it worked? thanks.. DR TIM Posted December 13, 2006 Share Posted December 13, 2006 1) In the root of your memory stick, create a folder called CHEATS. 2)Inside that, create a .txt folder called CHEATS. 3) Put the cheat inside the .txt folder... MinFingr Posted December 13, 2006 Author Share Posted December 13, 2006 (edited) so i just cut and paste the actual text out of the 3 .txt files into the 'cheats.txt' file? any specific format? (ie all in a line, spaced etc..) thanks for the help... EDIT: I did that. copied & pasted, left no space in between the different 'sections' of text. like all the text out of each txt file, i didn't put a space between them in the big 'cheats.txt' file. i started the game and couldn't find any ramps or anything, but at the top right of the screen it said 'no more memory available for user cheats.' so does this mean it worked? where is everything? thanks.. MinFingr Posted May 3, 2007 Author Share Posted May 3, 2007 (edited) **BUMP** anyone? i made the cheats.txt file and copied all the text from the 3 txt files that came inside the .zip file i dled. i start the game, and when the cheat device options come up, right underneath where it says "CheatDevice v1.0f PRX by Edison Carter" (top-right of screen), it says " out of memory for user cheats." im assuming this means the code has worked, but for some reason i don't have enough memory? does it mean internal memory? because i have over 20mb free on that ms..
