He had been made redundant last mouth and seems very unhappy! I had spent all my possible time with him but nothing changed. So if you know him please do something to cheers him up! I sincerely thank you for that. I hope you get out of that dip soon, and we could welcome you back here. As for spare parts, all I got atm is a pair of old speakers. Works very hard, and if it wasn't for him we would be down a whole modding area, his maxscripts are a very important piece of technology. I wish him the best of luck and I hope he gets through this, which a friend like you, I know he will . Sadly, I can't do as JernejL and send spare parts, because I have known I am afraid. I have got all my skills moding and moddeling vehicles to SA... If being without a computer obstruct him getting a job and forward this, stops him to be happy, I would gladly help him. I don't know where he lives, but I also have some spare PC parts, I could send (network card, noname soundcard, 128Mb Geforce FX5200 AGP, 40GB IDE HDD, 256MB PC2700 RAM, 300..350W Codegen ATX Power, etc) I hope we can do something to cheer him up... I have some experience in dealing with people with depression. I don't know just how bad kam feels only from your description but if he feels like talking some s**t through and wants to talk to me about, I'm listening. Even if it is not that severe, I am willing to listen and maybe have one or two good (as in helpful) thoughts about it. Thanks PS: If it is not the right place to post this, please remove it! EDIT: I know it costs money, but professional help might now be a bad thing. You sound very worried, and its time to take some drastic steps if you really are that concerned. JernejL Posted December 13, 2006 Share Posted December 13, 2006 I feel so useless, because i want to help him but have no way of how, he needs to talk to people who support him, and i have like 5 countries (and a ocean) between me and kam, and i can only tell him to think positive and wish him best, it takes some time to get thru such problems, but everybody goes thru bad times at some point in their lives, but he shouldn't be isolating himself from his friends and people that want to help him. I was actually thinking of sending it to you before I read this topic, since I read about your PC situation in your sig. I have been using your maxscript for about a week now... Before that I was exporting to .3ds, importing into zmod, saving as .dff AFTER FIXING ALL THE MATERIALS, exporting as .x, and making .col with steves tools! The last week I have more than quadrupled my efficency; and work completion, on my mod!!! ALL THANKS TO YOU! We really could use your help with more GTA modding! Come hang out with us!
