San Andreas Nut Posted December 12, 2006 Share Posted December 12, 2006 ok I was just wondering if it is possible to play Thrasher Skate and Destroy on my PC. I f*cking loved the game and I know many others on these forums do as well(DarthYenik etc.) but I am sick of setting up my old PS1 to play it, could anyone point me to a PS1 emulator with a Thrasher S & D rom? Im not sure if its considered Warez by GTAF though so If this needs lockage then so be it. Also wouldnt it be great if someone developed the old thrasher on their computer and revamped the textures and made it look pretty that would be awesome! GTA3Freak-2001 Posted December 12, 2006 Share Posted December 12, 2006 Yeah a ROM or disc image of a Playstation game would be breaching the warez rule, however I gather you aren't familiar with the PSX Emulation scene. Usually with PSX Emulation you run the game from the original disc since its a CD-ROM so if you own the game like you seem to imply then there's no need to obtain the game in any other format. Playstation Emulation however isn't really even today 100% perfect, some games won't run smoothly and will have many graphical glitches. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

But I don't know anything about modding or even if it's possible to mod this game. I'm guessing you don't have a PS2 or it lost it's PS1 playing abilities. My PS2 shat out on me in that area, but I got a new one Almost exclusively because of this game and San An and MGS3, which I acquired before my Playstation crapped out. My PS2 f*cked up ages ago, in bloody good condition to, only had it for like 2 years. only got $15 back for it! f*ckers. nah I still got my old skool PS1 which has lasted since I was 7!! just gotta set it up, teh only reason why I was thinkin about playing on PC was the possibility of modding it n shiz' such a great game. better than TH series.
