I like it icon14.gif Looks real.

@My stuff: I only like doing stuff where I know what I want out of it. Otherwise I just generate aload of crap, with no effects etc. Just not artistic enough tounge.gif

@Edmachine. Did you start that from scratch with a blank document in Photoshop or whatever you use? If you did then good job.

Well, if you want to, you can use it smile.gif. And if you need, I could make you it from a bird's view.

And if you DO make a texture, remember to credit me wink.gif.

SAMPLING COLORS OUTSIDE OF PHOTOSHOP

Here's a very short tip that doesn't warrant a topic. I thought about making this after reading TOGA62's topic. There is a way in PS that enables you to sample any color outside of PS using the sample tool.

All you have to do is reduce the PS window until the color that you want to sample is visible behind it. Be it in the OS, browser or other apps. Now select the sample tool (eyedropper) and left click and hold the button anywhere within your canvas. With the left mouse button still held, drag the dropper outside of PS towards the color you want to sample. Notice how the foreground color box changes accordingly. Relaese the mouse button, maximize PS, save the color in the swatches palette and there you have it. You can refer to the image below to get a better idea.

Awesome tip man. I usually press Prnt Screen and then use eye dropper. Thanks

Usually.. I just make this transparent..

Thus working everywhere.

Yeah, and some people use different skins so it wouldn't look right.

Decent tutorial anyway.

@Papanesta - Yeah I was thinking that. confused.gif

I've finally managed how to use brushed like dodge tool with color. tounge.gif Anywho, does anyone know how to apply changes to a layer for a frame? I need to make moving arm, but I can't do it with Edit>Transform>Distort because it changes the whole layer (meaning: all the frames). Is there another way?

I just made a simple picture. But still, beautiful.

The dying day

http://i90.photobucket.com/albums/k269/Edmachine/Thedyingday.png

The only filter I used is Ocean Ripple. And this time I didn't use the Filter>Render>Clouds thing. I used brushes for the clouds.

C&C please, and stay tuned for more.

Looks good Ed! But I think that the colours are to saturated.

Lol, what does that mean? tounge.gif

Means they've got too much colour in them.

for example:

This:

is more saturated than this:

You see, the high the "saturation value" (shown in the red box below), the higher saturated it is. and the higher up in the colour selector box, the more saturated as well.

Lower saturation makes things look more 'real'.

One that you have made or just found? For the first then of course you can, there used to 3D and 2D sections but they were merged to this section.

Don't worry, I'm not a ripper(I'll just take some GTA models tounge.gif ). It's because I've got(again)the blender DFF I/E script and the VC skeleton, so I can make some cool renders... And the best thing is that I've learned how to make Blender show alphas! Expect some obscure renders! tounge.gif

Vinnygouveia, search @ Google. There you will get a gazillion tutorials.

Ottae, you mean like this?

Oh, and I made an optical illusion. Just look at it, and then look at a wall or something.

Ottae, how do you make such a face? And another question... How do I make vector art?tounge.gif

If i'm not mistaken, the face if just the 'cutout' filter in PS, used on the man himself.

Ner, I did it the long way.

In Flash, I put that as a lower layer and locked it and using the Brush tool, I painted over my face with the appropriate colours. I did the same with the others, but using Fireworks instead, makes it look a bit more rugged.

@Ed - Yeah that's right, much better. Nice illusion as well, f*cked up my eyes.

@Ven - Cheers inlove.gif

Well... A lot of cool pictures and stuff, but I wanna post a little thingy. After a 1 year or more break into 3D animation on Blender, I decided to give a try into this:

Bahaha, that's not Paco, bud. I am.

Although, those are some creative drawings, Nik. I really like the Junglist Movement one, though. The lettering on the whole Junglist bit, along with your 3-D-ization of it caught my eye more than the rest.

Something about your drawing is very repetitive. It could be the fact you use a lot of the same colors, or you re-use and slightly manipulate little things here and there. Other than that, no complaints down your alley.
