Had a go, with a neon feel. Had to put a black background on it, not great quality either.

 

EDIT: Terrible quality.

Anyone know a little about the optimize setting on Imageready? I've fiddled with them but not much luck.

I tried some pixel art for an icon the other day for Myriad Islands, didn't turn out so good as an icon, but as a normal image it isn't to bad. Please keep the laughter in until the end of the show, thank you.

 

 

The buildings, are you can see are partly pixelated to a degree. Not bad for a first attempt I don't think, but you be the judge.

It is fine, but the icon hasn't got enough room for stuff like this.

 

If you look at the icons computer games have, you will notice that they all have something simple that represents the game. That is what you should aim for.

 

As it is Myriad related your icon should depict a landmark or an item that represents myriad. The 5 point star they have is an adequate icon for it IMO.

I am well aware of that fact TNT . This was a test, and it's not gonna be used. It does however work as an icon just fine, the size is not a problem. For the actual icon I am making it will have a star yes. This was using buildings, just for a test.

I think he converted them, because you can clearly see (Well, I don't know about others ) that a bit before the star starts to brighten up, the blue part becomes darker... Well done, jarjar!

Looks good but is quite distracting, you can focus on the guy or the logo.. you can't really look at the sig as one in my opinion.

Deuce, you should tone the brightness down on the '3' logo. It's very bright and doesn't really suit the feel of the sig. Aside from that, looks pretty damn nice.
