XxDarkxPsychicxX
So I'm trying to get 100% and am stuck on this mission. I've completed it before very easily, but now, the only gang members I can find are the Red Jacks. I find a member of the Purple Nines occasionally in random places, but when I try the mission they never appear. Did this happen to anyone else? Also, I'd appreciate any tips or hints on completing the Paramedic mission.
rav0
Your game has glicthed up. Load an old savegame that was started from before you completed Uzi Money, and still haven't completed Uzi Money, and then load the save file you want to play. You can also get a Purple Nines glitch fix. Edited February 18, 2007 by rav0
XxDarkxPsychicxX
I loaded a savegame that was on a different memory card (my GTAIII is the PS2 version from the double pack with VC). After getting up to that mission, I still see no Purple Nines. EDIT: I started a new game, and found & tried this. (Q) I want to go to Staunton and Shoreside to get the packages/rampages/etc but I dont want to cheat. Is this possible? (A) Yes. Go to Easy Credit Auto's in Portland and jack the Banshee there. When you leave, note the grass over behind the Car Crusher. Past this grass is a long white road. Follow it untill your actually on top of the Tunnel Entrance. BACK THE BANSHEE towards the water, the car should be sitting on the very middle line in this area, it's not hard to see really. When the rear wheels fall off the edge, the car will start to fall, quickly hit Triangle before the car does so, and TADA! Your actually ontop of the Porter Tunnel and can freely acess Staunton Island without cheating. Once you get to Staunton, jack a car and drive to SSV using the Tunnel, it wont be blocked off untill Staunton is unlocked by beating all of Portlands missions. When I went to Witchita Gardens, I found some Purple Nines. I have one quick question: if I play through the missions and get to Uzi Money again, will there still be Purple Nines? Jay
What does triangle do? I want to try this on PC. Enter/Exit vehicle. There should be a club for those caught out by this glitch. There are so many of us.
XxDarkxPsychicxX
Ok I've passed all 73 missions, got all hidden packages, rampages, and unique jumps, did almost everything. The only things I'm having problems with now are: 1)Paramedic mission (everytime I try this, my ambulance always manages to flip over, even if I drive slowly) 2) Getting the Flat Bed for the Portland import/export garage (just can't find any) I didn't want to make another topic for this, so I just posted it here. Help anyone? EDIT: Got the Flat Bed. Edited December 9, 2006 by XxDarkxPsychicxX
Heihachi_73
Do the paramedic missions in Staunton. It gives you ample time, especially if it takes you to Torrington. The number one rule is - don't travel at full speed, as the computer drivers are morons and during those missions they spawn more than usual. It's all too easy to be T-boned by a dumb Landstalker driver and sent on your side or roof. When I have a single person (e.g. mission 4) I get the single first then get the three at once. You get a time extension for the first person back on each mission. Unfortunately the time resets each mission unlike the Vigilante mission.
