1) Vice City: Well my first GTA was Vice City so that's probably the biggest reason. I love the city.

2) Los Santos: Real gangsta feeling.

3) Las Venturas: Glamour, casinos and all.

4) Liberty City: Hated it in GTA3 but liked in LCS.

5) San Fierro: Nothing special here really, just a regular city.

1. Vice City - That great 80's feel.

2. Las Venturas - The Casinos, the urban streets, so good

3. Los Santos - The definition of ghetto, probably too ghetto

4. Liberty City - The gang domination of Portland is so good but Staunton/Shoreside Vale don't impress me

5. San Fierro - Half of San Fierro is the countryside so I don't like that but mainly San Fierro's an alright city.

Vice City.....nice 80s feel of a beautiful neon city

San Fierro....I was expecting Full House whenever I am in that city... tounge2.gif

Los Venturas.....Casinos, awesome suburban area, and neon lights

Los Santos......too small for a ghetto....a ghetto should be more spread out

Liberty City - my first GTA city and far the best for me. Gives a certain nostalgia feeling to me when i see it. Favorite district: Saint Marks, cause i love pizza and "the Godfather".

Vice City - my second GTA city and i liked it a lot. Very well done. Very similar to Carcer city of Manhunt, especially in Little Haiti. My favorite district was havana cause it made me feel in home. I had a second most loved one: Ocean drive.

Los Santos - very realistic and detailed. I liked the Market district and Vinewood, even as R* didn't use them much. I HATED Idlewood. Just soo cherry for being in a gheeto. East L.S. gave me a feelin' of gloomy and insecurity at night. Very well done R*.

San Fierro - Just loved it. Nothing else. Favorite district is Chinatown, very realistic unlike liberty's chinatown.

Las Venturas - made me feel like on VC, especially with all the neon and fast cars. Apart from "The Strip" and "old venturas strip" the city s*cked ass.

I dont know what this has to do in the vcs section, but i'll give it a go too. Vice city, was the best gta city of all times. I personaly fell in love with it, and i even whent far enough to draw certain places from the city in a sketch book. But funny thing everyone mentions San Fierro, cause it was only a part of sa. I'll go with that too. And the desert. I didnt like Las Venturas too much tho.

Gantons Most Wanted

1. LS because it had that at home feeling in the beggining even tho things were messed up and it great places to go i hope if they do make another stories game that it takes place here because it has alot more potential and i think R* could have had alot more places to go but it did capture the ghetto brilliantly i take my L.A dodgers cap off to you R*

2.VC it captured the 80's brilliantly and it had the mansion from Scarface or one very similar and it captured the cocaine trade brilliantly aswell

3.SF it was a laid back city full of hippys and had the aircraft carrier and the bay and the plesure domes club

4.LC captured that great mobster feel in saint marks and red light and how harsh the environment was and how bleek thing were there

5.LV yyeah it had casino's etc but i felt that after i had done SA that there wasn't anything much to do up there except store cars

1. Liberty City: The aura of the city was unmatchable by the rest of the GTA cities (esp. the GTA3 version). I loved Portland.

2. Vice City: 80's feel, Miami feel. Pure awesome-ness

3. Los Santos: R* did a extremely good job on detail, and I like Menace II Society, so I like SA tounge.gif

4. San Fierro: I like the hills, and the stunting.

5. Las Venturas: It was OK. They could have done more with it, though. Well, one of the five cities had to be last. smile.gif

1) Liberty City - First one I played in, love the unique dark feeling it gives.

2) Vice City - Nice sunny, 80's Miami.

3) Los Santos - This is really the only city with a gangster theme.

4) Las Venturas - Love the casinos and neon lights.

5) San Fierro - It's a nice city, but is still my least favorite.

Las Venturas - A truly beautiful city. I absolutely adore the glitz and the glamour of it all! Sadly it's underrated as there is a lack of missions seeing as R* took a lot of LV missions out of the game sad.gif But trust me, spend enough time with it to see it's TRUE potential.

San Fierro - The most exciting city of them all, and it's just a nice place to be in. And that Tram has brought many a good time. A good time indeed.. (but not for the cops hehehe..)

Vice City - I LOVE the atmosphere of Vice City. It may be flat, but there's plenty of excitement to be had all on it's own...

Liberty City - I love the extrodinarily tall (we're talking 5x the size of the tallest building in LS) buildings and urban feel of it all. I too didn't think much of it in III but I loved it in LCS (maybe because it was brighter and easier to see..)

Los Santos - It's bottom of the list, but that doesn't mean I hate it. A lot of Los Santos is rather nice. It's just a somewhat awkward city and I loathe the docks area for some reason. It makes the place seem really ugly. But moving downtown and further NW, I quite like the place. It just appeals to me the least out of all of the cities.

Vanilla Shake

1. Los Santos - Definitely my favorite because of how rediculously detailed it is, plus it just has a certain atmosphere to it that kinda makes it feel like my second home.

2. Liberty City - It's based off of New York City and I'm from New York City, so... biggrin.gif

3. Vice City - I like that 80's atmosphere.....and soundtrack.

4. Las Venturas - I love the glitz and glamour of the casinos, plus it's very well lit up at night.

5. San Fierro - I like the terrain, the street racing mood and the surrounding countryside/bridges.

"Vice City" - Neon! Great Atmosphere.

"San Fierro & Countryside" - Very hilly area that gives you a sence of freedom.

"Las Venturas" - Minor Neon. The only things that really highlight it is the strip and the airport, but those alone are enough.

"Los Santos" - Spent a little to much time there on missions, so it got boring, and the area is a little too repeditive.

"Liberty City" - Portland is alright, but Stauton Island and Shoreside Vale are just flat with a grey, industrial, downcast feeling.

"San Andreas As A Whole" VS. "Vice City" = Tie

1. Los Santos - I love this place from how it's actually the first really run down city in GTA.

2. Las Venturas - With all it's lights, casinos, and gambling how couldn't I love it?

3. Vice City - A tropical place that I just seem to like because of how the city is put out.

4. Desert - Not really a city but I just like how it has all these counties and how rocky it is.

5. San Fierro - Pretty nice city from how it seems to look a lot like a buisness type city.

6. Countryside - Again not really a city but I like for the same reasons as the Desert except for problems like there are too many trees for me.

7. Liberty City - I just think i've gotten bored of it.

VictorVance2006

Vice City- Its the 80's, what more could you want? Main theme Pink.

Libery City- A memerable city, this one I will never forget. Main Theme Grey.

Carcer City- Not sure if this counts, but its dark, gritty and detailed. The infamous manhunt city is frequently being refered to in most GTA's. Main theme black.

Los Santos- This orange gang enviornment is still fun. Main Theme Orange.

Las Vanturas- Vegas, very cool. Main Theme Purple.

San Feiero- San Fransico is a bit to bland in my opinion. Main theme Light Grey.

Thanks for reading. colgate.gif

While GTA3 was the first GTA I ever played, Vice City was the first GTA I actually played played as in did the storyline (missions, etc.). Vice City remains the only city I've memorized almost 100% (the other cities I can still get lost in). Other than Vice and Liberty, from San Andreas my favorite is Los Santos. It seems so massive, and the most realistic in my opinion.

to me, all of the cities were great...

liberty city - had a great urban feel to it, also kind of had a dark feeling tho, but truly showed east coast life to the fullest

vice city - had a paradise environment, but with a realistic touch...loved downtown especially

los santos - reflected the 90's west coast well, but in my opinion not as great as games such as true crime la did...

san fierro - upbeat, gay (kind of in a good way lol) feel to it, especially liked the fog effects and early mornings...

las venturas - really wished to see more of this in the storyline...but overall this was my favorite city
