COL files

this sucks .. i've maded a small island in sketchup and converted it to vc with zmodeler .. i've maded a col file too but isn't right .. i'm chrashing in an inzisible ground ..

This happens a lot with sketch up made models and has been spoken about loads around here.

There are a couple of work arounds but I dont think theres a definitive solution other than to use a better () 3d app, just search about a bit.

i have the same problem too with Sketchup col files. the problem is that i got no idea on modelling with other 3d apps such as 3d studio max or zmodeler.

 

so please can you tell me what can be done to somehow 'fix' this problem? or at least give a link to a topic with the appropriate solution.

I use Sketchup (Easier to model). I get invisible walls but only on big models and they appear in strange places. If i keep making smaller models i'll get to the object limit and will be unable to complete my city. When i was converting VC to SA i got some weird invisible walls.

 

Solution: Use smaller models or work arounds. (neither seem to work for me, but i make weird shapes)

 

[EDIT] i need a link for some work arounds. Can anyone provide one ? (Search = Disabled)
