jarjar
Prologue: I released this mod back last December. But since I finally got time to finalize it with a screenshot and what not, I decided to revive it with a post here. Description: This modification removes all the water from around the state of San Andreas. Meaning you can now drive on the ground floor of the sea. Very bumpy, but a hell of a lot of fun with the cops on your tail . Glitches: The water on the east side of Los Santos still looks like it is there. But it isn't, and if you try to drive on the sea floor you will fall through the ground and spawn somewhere around SA. This glitch could be in other areas as well. The reason for this is unknown, so be careful, although like everything else in this mod, it makes it even more enjoyable . Download: Download http://www.gtagarage.com/mods/show.php?id=820g Screenshot: Running from the cops on the sea floor is very interesting and good old fashioned fun . *Note: Screenshot will be added to GTAGarage once images are working on the site once again. Blackadder.
5kedone is right, you have a hell of alot of room to put ramps and such in, hell, you could make your own city down there! Good work as usual jarjar
jarjar
Thanks guys, glad you like it! There will be a lot more modifications from me showing up over the next few weeks, so keep any eye out .
Blackadder.
Sounds great! I want to try this, but SA don't work on this computer, will try tomorow This will be great to test top speeds!
uNi
I did something like this with the Water Tool and is great driving everywhere. Nice job.
jarjar
Thanks uni. Although to make it clear, I made this myself, I didn't use that Water Tool you speak of, just in case you we're thinking that . The coding for water in GTA is very easy to edit and destroy. Thanks for the comments guys . This will be great to test top speeds! It's a bloody lot of fun on my new laptop with the game set to Very High Detail . uNi
Yeah yeah, I know. By the way, wich resolution do you use ingame ? It seems that you're using wide screen.
jarjar
I know, just wanted to make it clear mate . Um, I think I may use have widescreen turned on, either way my laptop screen is 15.4", so it is kinda widescreen to begin with anyway. Only problem with it is the graphics on the movies and loading screens are very low-quality.
Quadropheniac90
Looking good, should be fun to drive in the sea. Keep it up!
jarjar
Thanks. And yes, it's a bloody lot of fun driving around there, especially with 3+ stars and cops on your tail. Sadly my cop in the image I post got stuck in a creavis a little behind me, so you can't see him. Oh also, I forgot to tell you all about the glitch (it's in the readme also): Glitches: The water on the east side of Los Santos still looks like it is there. But it isn't, and if you try to drive on the sea floor you will fall through the ground and spawn somewhere around SA. This glitch could be in other areas as well. The reason for this is unknown, so be careful, although like everything else in this mod, it makes it even more enjoyable .

jarjar
Man u would be asking urself where the f*ck has all the f*cking water gone now hehe, well thats the idea of the modification, to remove all water. So if you installed it you should remember. Unless your talking about the cops, in which case: .
Blackadder.
You should make a droguht as in, there is a very small amount of water (3m high)
jarjar
Good thinking, I am actually adding such a feature to my tool to soon be finished called "Water Editor" which allows you to edit the water in a 3D environment, kinda like Map Editor. . Cowpat
The water on the east side of Los Santos still looks like it is there. The reason for this is unknown, so be careful, although like everything else in this mod, it makes it even more enjoyable . Great mod. It's great fun ramping around the sea bed on the NRG500. The reason you fall thru the sea floor on the East of Los Santos is most likely because someone at R* forgot to set collision detection for that area. jarjar
Thanks Cowpat! Interesting deduction, I'd say you'd be right. If so I am going to check this out, maybe I can fix it and release a new version. Would make things more interesting. Thanks pal .

It should be awesome to drive a tuned infernus with nitrous down there! *downlaodin'* Edit:It's cool, but even cooler to fall in a hole and spawn in a random place on SA!! jarjar
Edit:It's cool, but even cooler to fall in a hole and spawn in a random place on SA!! hehe, yeah, thats one of the reasons I didn't worry about it much, it added a little more touch of fun to the game and the mod.
