GTA3Freak-2001 Posted November 30, 2006 Share Posted November 30, 2006 Well we knew it was only a matter of time before this happened, now we no longer have to run VCS as an ISO if you want to use the Cheat Device on a 1.5 PSP. Alot of us who didn't have big enough Memory sticks upgraded to the custom 2.71 SE C Firmware so we could play with the game and Cheat Device so for some its come to late. Now all you need is Devhook which now emulates the 2.81 Firmware that VCS needs to run from the UMD! Here's the article from QJ PSP: Booster Has Done it Again! I bought the game VCS, and my brother wanted to play a game that he just bought that requires a 2.81 update.So I didnt want him to waste his money so i updated for him. Well i hope you guys find an exploit, but meanwhile ill go to the rpg making business. All i have to do is wait, just like i did for 2.71. even if i didnt update and dumped the umd, i dont have enough memory on my Memory stick for two isos. I wonder if the DevHook 2.71 Launcher needs an update to support DevHook 0.50 (as it's designed for 0.46). If so, I guess we'll just have to wait until Dark Alex updates the DevHook 2.71 Launcher. On the plus side I already have 2GB memory card, so I'm already playing it currently, but running from the UMD would still be a nice option to have. chrislawrance Posted November 30, 2006 Share Posted November 30, 2006 this should work with HEN C and HEN D. you may have miss installed devhook 0.50 otherwise try emulating 1.5 then launch devhook 0.50. if there is actually a problem with HEN and its not a mistake then a fix will come shortly. I try to start it with the tiff exploit and it just freezes up or bars of red and darker red flash and it goes to the blue screen then it will either freeze or work. I have already gotten the green screen on it before and have had it running... but i just think that thered is kind of weird. do i need to get everything off my mem stick and just put henc and devhook?
