Gouveia
Is it possible to, somehow, fo a car that is alike a hovercraft? I mean, that can drive on water and on ground WITHOUT THE CHEAT?
generalaction2
I don't think so, GTA: VC and GTA: SA use different engines. So I don't think it is possible, somebody else could clarify this for me..
Blackadder.
SA uses the same engine as VC, just more modified Anyway, I think if you were to decrease the speed of skimmer and change its values in default.ide/handling.cfg, you should be able to make a makeshift hovercraft! BenMillard
The Vortex is set up as a plane in GTASA, so that might work. However, the Vortex does not scrape it's bottom on land while the Skimmer in GTAVC does. I think the Vortext ID must be hardcoded to allow both water and land surfaces to be driven on in GTASA. thepcdude
This may sound weird, but I'm going to try it. By maybe editing weight and things in handling.cfg, it might work with gravity to lift a little. I dunno. I'll try this.
Gouveia
damn... i tought i would need to hack the exe or even change something in the main.scm... but i'll try to mod the handling ... EDIT: Trying to make the vehicle lighter didn't work, it goes nuts and cant move forward nad it drowns on the water Edited December 2, 2006 by vinnygouveia
Mark
Well the handling.cfg is a very sensitive file, especially with boats and aircraft. If you change something by too much, it does tend to go mental. Small increments of one thing at a time and trying multiple parts of the .cfg over time usually get the desired effect, just in this case, it might not exactly be possible. May even need a .col edit. Silberio
why dont u search for the Handling.CFG for GTASA, and copy the part of the vortex settings and but it in something in VC. btw, i was searching how to make a Amphibious Transport for GTA3, any idea, except mine... Mark
Not possible. The handling.cfg files are different. A little read about on this site will show..and aid understanding on the handling.cfg file enough to allow you to experiment maybe. P.S. Bout 3rd time in a week I've used that site as a reference, kudos to Cerb for making it
