For the link to the forums, can we take the 'tornadorex' bit out and just have "gtasims.domainname" or "grandtheftautosims.domainname"? Tornado Rex, could we maybe keep the website hidden, like, only available once you log in so that people won't go making threads and sh*t? Its in the Sims 2, this place has some very good tutorials, btw I'm doing the Hyman Stadium with the Destruction Derby interior, I've got a couple of Ideas for it! I also might make some other interiors, like the VCS one or the Car racing one, I'm also doing Sunshine Autos, I've got some really nice custom cars for it! Well, I don't want to offend, but I just think we should rename the topic. Maybe "The Sims 2 VC Project" or something? @GTA3Freak: Tell me about it. Most of my Christmas list is Sims 2 expansions. Yeah its annoying to download the separate parts of it for 3 days I might try and make Liberty in Simcity 4, but San Andreas is still up. Brutuz reinstalls Simcity 4 Deluxe Edition. I suck at them and I have no desire to get better at them. Secondly, as far as making it "just like greendaysims". I vote no. For two reasons. One, copycat sites suck. Two, forum-only sites suck. As for the domain. No, it can't be changed. Unless this site takes off or you want to pay for it, I'm not going to pay to register a domain. And there's no way to get the 'tornadorex' part out unless a new domain is registered. As for keeping the site hidden. That's fine, we can develop it in a 'beta' folder or some such. If you want to keep it even more hidden we can develop it on my personal home server. We might have to do a little changing around though because my home server has a different version of PHP and MySQL. It should be minor changes though. Also, if this is going to go anywhere we need a website developer. I can do some, but I can't make it look pretty. I can do some coding, nothing special, and as stated before, I don't do graphics. I would prefer to have a decent coder and a graphics person on the team. Basically, I'm good at 'behind the scenes' sh*t. Brutuz Posted December 5, 2006 Share Posted December 5, 2006 I know basic Image editing, and I have a Basic knowledge of Dreamweaver, but I don't think you'll need me to make the site, and I can't be bothered to anyway, also We won't be able to use that Vercetti estate unless we have the creators permission, And I Can try and make my own with a more real to the GTA game than Livable for the sims interior.
