I had come across some downloads - the Malibu club, Vercetti Estate and the neighborhood of Vice City. This gave me an excellent idea. If the GTA community could help me out it would be f**king hectic - try to get everyone to make one or a few buildings from Vice City for Sims 2 and send them to me and I will place them on the Vice City Neighborhood and upload it for download. When you reply, if you wish, say which building you wish to create. If the thread ends up becoming quite long, make sure you read over the replies so that you know which buildings are being created. Pat Posted November 29, 2006 Share Posted November 29, 2006 I knew there was something my increadibly short Christmas list was missing! Sims 2! Although I haven't played Sims in a while, like GTAIII, it was magic when I first played it. That was back in the days when I wanted to be an architect. Anyway, I love creating houses and such on the old normal Sims, and I've done some pretty good malls + hotels on the Vacation island. If I can get a copy of Sims 2, I can do any building you want me to do in two to three days tops. I'll come back if I get a copy, and start making some buildings. Maybe I could pool some cash together and get Sims 2 right now.. Oh, and thanks for accepting me, even though I don't have a copy yet. I even planned out some blueprints for some of the VC buildings at school! (Didn't draw them mind you; my drawing is sh*t.) My inspiration comes from "www.greendaysims.com" If our website could be just like that, but GTA Style, and GTAForums and a few other fansites could help support it, that would be f*cking amazing. The site would be forum related, with a forum for Buildings, one for objects, one for Sims etc. The feedback I've been getting is excellent and I'm extremely happy for teh support im getting. There's nothing there right now, but the forums are at http://gtasims.tornadorex.com/forums. Again, just the base install right now. Once someone decides who can design the sh*t we'll go from there. As of right now I'm the only admin, SaintJimmy will be the other one assuming he wants it. I don't have Sims 2. I will be getting it for Christmas though.(If I'm not on the naughty list) I'm not a big computer game fan, just for the sims. I would assume that I will need to buy a video card to play a game that looks this good though. I really have no idea what a video card is, but after searching and figuring out how to check what you have. This is what I came up with. VIA/S3G UniChrome IGP Can I play the game with that? My guess would be no, seeing as I have never bought a video card. That is what was in the comp. when I got it. I need ot know what I should buy. I wan't the least expensive card that will still get the job done. Again, I don't mean to go off topic, but I really would like to help and I just need this info before I can. Thank you. That way I can look it up and tell you what you can use in there. Well, that is the thing. My grandfather made it for our family and sent it up here from Florida. He makes them all the time and it runs pretty good. There is only one sticker on it and it says "AMD Sempron" and to my very small computer knowledge, that is the processor. Throw me ideas there on how to set up groups. I was thinking of having something like an "Official Modding Team" group or some such for the more dedicated members. Meh, I'm tired. Post here or there with ideas. Also we still need someone to design the actual site. That way the Creators could mod their category, by say having their favorites pinned or deleting their Betas, that way you can make sure that they can't delete other peoples stuff, but they can in their own area.
