TonyZimmzy
Favourite: Emotion 98.3 Least Favourite: Flash FM... So poorly done
jarjar
According to my in-game stats... Nevermind, I just found out VCS doesn't have a "Favourite Radio Station" & "Least Favourite Radio Station" like usual. Person Preference... Favourite: VROCK - I loved it in VC, so naturally it's no different in VCS. Least Favourite: VCPR - Never really like the Public Radio Stations in GTA. I find them boring to be honest. 88survivor
Really? Flash FM is that poorly done in VCS.....that's totally shocking...
sunjo
Favorite: Wave 103 Least Favorite: Espantoso I also enjoy listening to Flash, Emotion, VCFL and Paradise. The rest I don't really care for. Once again their is a handful of hilarious commercials and DJ commentary.

My stats showing this: Favourite: Emotion 98.3 Least Favourite: Paradise (it doesn't mean i don't like it, it's great, i just didn't listen it enough). Oh and to be honest Phil Collins In air Tonight concert is the best .

88survivor
There are some well known disco songs such Jackie Moore's This Time, Baby..which you all known has been sampled recently. By the way, Jackie Moore was born in Jacksonville, Florida and she only had two hits: "Precious, Precious", peaking #30 on the Pop charts around early 1971 and her only U.K hit "This Time" barely missing the top 40, I believe, in late 1979. The interesting thing is how she got involved in music. It was through her older cousin who was involved in the music business. But VCPR and Paradise........... really? Well, anymore, from the peanut gallery? Edited November 30, 2006 by 88survivor

Ash_735
Fave: Flash FM, V-Rock, WAVE103 Least Fave: Fresh 105 Flash FM is great, I know most of the songs on there and it even has a Flashback FM reference on it. Wave103 is just great, Most people in the UK will recognise these songs more as most of the bands are british and some songs are legendary *cough*Blue Monday*cough*. Nothing beats riding round the city on a Freeway whilst listening to Stranglehold! Least fave is Fresh FM, only like 2 goods songs on it and the DJ is annoying, constantly swearing, says f*ck like every 3 words, really annoying, nowhere near as good as Mr Magic. 88survivor
I believe the new Fresh FM DJ you are referring to is none other than 2 Live Crew's own Luke Skyywalker(also known as Luther Campbell), who those of us that were born in 1983 might remember a certain album to cause controversy called As Nasty as They Wanna Be(1989) because of the amount of swearing and sexual perversion involved in the album. It was almost banned, though. 1989...what a year and I was addicted to Current Events. I even remember the news aiming at that album. It was almost beating a dead horse to that. Mr. Magic, on the other hand, is an important figure for the hip-hop radio genre and to be debuted on WBLS-FM as one of the first pioneer for a rap radio show, that, ladies and gentleman, is history in the making. 88survivor
But since I hear the DJ from Fresh FM is annoying...that does not make me happy....Man, I miss George Clinton already. Even if he is stoned or whatnot, he is awesome live. I just saw him in Conn. not too long ago at Foxwood Casino. He is cool....I mean, a dude with funky multi-colored dread locked hair and weird clothes. Not to mention the man behind the Funkadelics/Parliament(sp?)...but he is so cool. Even at his age, he still rocked the house

88survivor
You know, Quiet Riot's Metal Health knocked off the Thriller album from the Billboard charts and till this day it remains one of the most best selling albums of 1983. I was born that year. True story... And what did you know... they have Jason Seaver's favorite band, Autograph, twice already. What is ironic is that Autograph did appeared in both the Dudley Moore/Kirk Cameron body switch film, Like Father, Like Son. Terrible movie. It is also regarded as the first body switch type film besides Visa Versa. Autograph appeared for a small bit, but anybody recognize Autograph....they were at a heavy metal concert. saintdave
Favourite Radio Station: Fresh 105 FM Reason: Obviously it’s the show that came before Wildstyle and that was my favourite station from VC. It features many songs very familiar and inspired many hip hop songs that we hear today. Least Favourite Radio Station: Emotion 98.3 Reason: Again similar to the reason behind my favourite, I really didn’t like the version from VC and little has changed now. It’s just not my type of music but that’s not to say it isn’t well put together.

My favourite is emotion and worst is fresh 105, I think fresh 105 is similar to rap in the game so if it is then it's my least favourite.
scalliano
Favourite: VCPR. Always loved the talk stations, and VCPR is as good as ever. Least favourite: VCFL, although the DJ is funny at times.
88survivor
Looking at the selection that Fresh FM has, I am surprised they put Midnight Star there since they are not necessarily hip hop at all. If you go listen to early Midnight Star, they are actually a synth funk band. Listen to the early Midnight Star and you'll see the difference indeed. equinox716
I didn't think the DJ's were as good as previous games ... some of the gags were pretty lame. Especially Flash FM
88survivor
Well, that sort of thing happens if the DJ's gags are not what they use to be in previous games before....it happens all the time, you know. That's all I have to say...since I know most of these 80s songs here, so it's not a problem to say at least. At least, it's hard at all since it is easy to recognize a lot of these songs. gameroftheuk
VRock wins by default for having Holy Diver. That holy diver song plays when u do the mission with lance to get to the 2nd island where martinez drive that hunter heli, as soon as u get on to the barrack truck, the station will be VROCK and it will play holy diver, it seems the game dev wants us to listen to this song when playing this awesome mission, it is impressive in one's mind and it just matches with that mission. 88survivor
Dio is like the godfather of metal. Hands down...despite being responsible for destryoing Sabbath legacy and not matching Ozzy's coolness. Hence, the inventor of the "devil" sign....which he learned from his mother who couldn't speak a word of English. And the devil you always see in his album is none other than Muray. 88survivor
Yeah, but the majority of metal heads prefer Ozzy over Dio's role in Sabbath. Ronnie James Dio as a solo artist....pure gold. Little trivia: I tried to say I prefer Ronnie over Ozzy to one friend of mine, but I didn't win in my tiny argument. True story, though... Well, anyway, let's get to favorite or least favorites...okay.. Plus, it should have been obvious that Justin Timberlake sampled electro-funk Planet Patrol's Play At Your Own Risk right at the beginning of that famous intro with the synths. Anymore?
