Rob.
The next milestone in Gamerscore points has been reached ... the 100,000 mark. StripClubDj has surpassed the 100,000 Gamerscore point! It looks like Superman Returns was the game that finally put him over the magic number and what a perfect game to choose. Now I'm not saying he cheated at all, whether using game saves or having friends logon for him, but that's a crazy amount of not only time, but money spent. He can't even be human. Cheers to you Mr. StripClubDj, you've surely glued yourself to that TV for way to long and I commend you for it. Link Link to Gamertag I only just passed 1000 last week. anuj
What are acheivement points? I got my 360 today and won't be able to touch it until Christmas, so I'm genuinely intrigued as to what the heck they are. Can you spend them like money? BCspeed34
Its like a point system to show how much you have done in your gaming career. For example, if you pass the training level in GRAW, you get 25 pts. If you get every Ferrari in PGR3, you get 60-80 pts. Some games take longer to get points, and some are very east (King Kong). Unfortunatley, they are just a little (in this case HUGE) number under your name, and you cant spend them. ________________________________________ 専車SODO-MOTO International Vehicle Importers
AlianAnt
Pfff. Loser. You can't do anything with acheivement points, and their compleatly unblanced. For instance, beating CoD2 on the hardest difficulty gives you, like, 50 points. Then playing Fight Night 3 for 20 minutes and unlocking some lame-ass gear gives you twice as much. And not only are the unbalanced, they're also worthless. Maby if I could spend them like M$ points, I'd be all up on Acheivement point's nuts. But I can't. So, yeah....acheivements. What a waste of time. But of course, theres people out there that whore them. More power to you, I suppose. Metal up your ass!
GTA3Freak-2001
Yeah it ends up being a bragging number but I like it in the way that it gives a little more incentive to unlock certain things as then everyone can see your achievements. I'd love it if you could trade them in for Gamerpoints, would give them more of a point. Its not just a number though, you can actually see how and what achievements they got by looking at their profile.
MyMothersMySister
I don't bother with anyone's Gamerscore (achievment points) unless they are on my list. That way I know they are not arses who Statpad. It's like BF2 all over again. *Shudders* Apparantly. Our friend Stripclubdj isn't all he seems. This is posted by a member over at the Xbox.com forums. Appearently many xbox 360 user like the now famed StripClubDj are cheating to get there achievement points. There are services and exchange places were xbox 360 users around the world upload there game saves, by linking to there computer. At these web site you can download a save file and then bamm you beat the game with all the achievement points. So thats how Oblivian is beat in one day and how StripClubDj can have games beat that are all japanese and spanish text . That makes more sense to me. Edit I had a quick look at the link provided by Rob and sure enough he has all achievments in games he has never played. Some even in a foreign language. This is one of the reasons that Gamerscore is pretty much useless and will never change due to the sheer imbalance of the said achievments and of course the arsehats like our friend here. Stick to your buddylists gamerscores for competition and bragging rights. Messiah To The Animals #Cyclop9
Exkabewbikadid
I think I'd be f*cking ashamed of my "Gamerscore". Hell, I'm frightened to know just how many hours I've spent on GTA. I'll probably die only to find out there's an afterlife in which I stand before judgement. "Xcomm, the books show you spent 2305 hours masturbating and 2311 hours playing GTA. You will spend the next 1000 years in purgatory." IT WAS WORTH IT.
BroDan
Mine is low but I don't care anyway, it proves I either don't have time to play or can't afford many games GoW has given me the most points because I fell in love with it. Co-op with friends got me through Hardcore having a blast and i'm cureently working Insane mode solo I need to go back to Dead Rising and try and get further on that because it's an awesome game. As Liam said, GamerPoints are only fun between friends. Still alive, lurking in the shadows. BF3 Profile

I bought it around the time I fell out love with my 360 but that love is burning again. Messiah To The Animals #Cyclop9
EmSixTeen
It's more worthy nothing what achievements the person actually unlocked to deserve the Gamerscore.. Like Liam said, it's easy enough to stick to normal people, and then they have a bit of bragging rights and the likes. Someone come get your ass kicked at THP8 please. vint_cool
one question - do u need to be connected to live for your achievement points to increment ? For ex: If I play some 4 games for some 2 months without having connected to live and then connect to live after some time, will my achievement points be stored and will reflect in my gamer tag as and when I connect to live or will it start with 0 and do I have to replay them all over again connected to live? P.S: I dont have a x360 yet, but planning to buy one soon, unfortunately live will be launched only next year in my country....hence asking ! They'll be present when you sign in and auto update on your Gamercard. @ TD, You get certain amounts of points on achieving certain goals within any 360 game. It's actually a pretty neat function but as always. Get's exploited by a few. If you stick to your friends list. It's much more fun to compare Gamerscores. Seddo
Thought something was a bit fishy 100,000 points each game only usally holds 1000 points, so he's "supposdly played 100 games" which in my eyes is impossible . Thats like one of my mates, he playes all the kids games to get an easy 1000 points from it, i dont see a point really, also his 360 is a "special one " so he only has to pay £10 per game. You mean *100 Games? There was actually a new article about a new service on the internet, where you'd pay someone to get achievement points on your gamertag for you.
