Posted November 28, 2006 Share Posted November 28, 2006 I think you are completely wasting your time installing the v1.01 patch, which basically just disables hot coffee, but you have to use a mod/tool to enable hot coffee, so i dont see why you want to install the no hot coffee patch in the first place !!! segvirion Posted November 28, 2006 Share Posted November 28, 2006 Actually, the 1.01 patch fixes the dirty cars bug (in version 1.00, if you take a dirty car to a pay'n'spray, the car would not get clean) and improves DVD streaming, among other things. jarjar Posted November 28, 2006 Share Posted November 28, 2006 Yes, v1.1 patch fixes a lot of problems, disables a lot of modding abilities however. Now you haven't renames the games executable or got something different as your exe, such as a cd crack. If so, not only can we not help you but the patch will not install. As long as you've got the original executable, the patch will work. So as long as the information you've now provided is true, the patch will work flawlessly. And to get clean cars the graphics have to be set to atleast medium (and everything from medium on has real-time shadows which drops framerates drastically even on best systems). And I will say this like I said before: we should make a new hot coffee-like scandal so that Rockstar make a 1.02 patch so we get some new fixes Thats not even funny, its sad.
