mopar92
San Andreas Looks Really good on Xbox,PC, and PS2, if you go to:(www.gtasanandreas.com), and view all the snapshots for each Console. Notice they all look Excellent, but i have an (20-inch RCA Truflat) TV, and a PS2 with GTA San Andreas. It Appears to Look Ridiculous . During the gameplay, most area's including the characters are too Dark and this makes this 3 times harder to see . So i Agreed that GTA San Andreas Graphics is really bad-On my particular TV. Now i have it on PC, and the Graphics are Excellent except, i have a NVIDIA G-FORCE 6150LE Graphics Card. This card is too Slow to keep up with the graphics in the game.I really for shure if i install the Nvidia Graphics 7000 Series in my pc, it would be 10 times faster. Anyway im thinkin' i should try my GTA San Andreas for PS2 on an (HD 720,720pi)-or-(HD 1080,1080pi) TV.>>So any Suggestions on what TV should i play my game on?? Mike0
First: Check that you have the frame limiter set to OFF. It is in options menu. Then check advanced settings and put the detail level to LOW (from MEDIUM on it lags on almost every PC) Then put antialiasing in the options to 1,2 or 3 You can also turn the draw distance to medium or 3/4 or even max. It doesnt really make a huge impact. If you have a too dark picture you can set the brightness in options also. Now you can check you FPS ingame with FRAPS : FRAPS is here if you need it Also if you have V1 of the game (you can check that in the menu of the game, if there is no number in the lower right corner, then you have V1, otherwise it says V2).... So if you have v1 of the game you can update it and the update also gives support for HDTV resolutions. So you can hook up you PC with the TV if your graphics card has a TV-OUT port. You can check that on the back of the PC on the graphics card. It is a round port. Not square. (Sorry for my english Im not english) So that way you should be able to play SA on an HDTV. About playing it on HDTV using PS2 I dont know. But I think the picture would suck. So the TV you have now isnt HD? If I got that right? Maybe you could also turn up the brightness on the TV and in the PS2 version of the game(if the setting is there anyway). About which HDTV you should buy I dont know. But I suggest you wait till october 2007 and buy an HDTV then + Xbox360 or PS3 if you want to play GTA IV. Also PS3 supports all previous GTAs because it is backwards compatible. But Xbox 360 will have episodes for GTA IV which we dont know how will it be on PS3. So if you can wait till next year then buy and HDTV next year. Anyway it is your choice. I said alot in this reply. Hope anything of it helps. Edited November 27, 2006 by Mike0
