GTAThomas
I want to get a new computer case that will look great with my PS3 I'm getting this year. (With silver strip). I plan to keep it next to my computer because my monitor is HDTV (Yeah, try to figure that out). I have no clue where to look or what kind I should get. There is no real budget but $150+ is rediculous for a case. Can you help me pick one out? The case needs to be/have: •Compatable with mATX mobos, most are anyways. I am also planning to get a regular ATX mobo some time soon. •Regular ATX power supply rack, no PSU needed. •If possible, stealth drive covers to hide the DVD drives. •If that's not possible than a front door to hide everything. •Shiney! It must have a glossy reflective look to it. lol The main problem I'm having when looking for a case is whether or not it is shiney. Pics can't really tell, especially on sites like NewEgg. That's pretty much it. I'm not into the whole curvy with 20 different LEDs. Just a nice case with some good parallel lines. EDIT- Here is a bit more information: I only have 1 DVD drive, 1 HDD, and I only use 2 USB ports. So pretty much anything you could find that fits my upper description would work. Fans are optional really. The case I have now is a mATX with a fan on the back and a fan over the CPU. Cooling an AMD and GeForce 7900GT. That's pretty much it.. Oh, and it doesn't have to be ATX Mid. It could be mATX. Standing or flat, it doesn't matter to me, just make sure it has room for my vid card. EDIT2- Gah, I also don't have a floppy drive. EDIT3- I found a case that looks pretty good. It has the stealth drive bay covers and the description says a high glossy finish. LINK The case I have now is also an Apex. It's pretty good but really cheaply made if you ask me, the black on the sides of mine is just matt spray paint. EDIT4- Screw the price. It seems only the expensive cases have the rock stable build and polished finish. Building this computer is my passion. I'm not going to set a price limit. Also, maybe a Media Center case would be right for me (As long as it can fit my video card). After all, my monitor is technically a TV. millermagic
I'd read the reviews for the quality of the case.
Fozzy Fozborne
I have This Case, it looks good in my opinion, it has a shiny finish, and is available in Black, Silver/Black, Blue/Black, and Orange/Black. It's also really easy to work with. Main Product Page
