As opposed to the player selection mod

I've been wanting to replace CJ's face with ryders, instead of using the player selection mod. the player selection mod doesnt allow you to play the main story line. I just want to replace CJ's face with ryders, have ryders haircut, and hat, so you can play the story, and have ryders face. I know you can do that with 3ds max, but i have NO CLUE on how to use it right, and im not registered to it, so it doesnt work how i need it to. If ANYONE, can come up with a DFF, and TXD to replace a haircut with ryders face, hair and hat, id REALLY appreciate it.
