dertyjerzian
This never happened until last night, I figured f*ck it and scrapped a huge lot, and decided, yea, go ahead and make a small lot to see... This model is not complete, but look at it: Kams script has taken this: And exported it as this (f*cked up in-game too, obviously): Wtf is going on with this? It really doesnt make any sense... All my Vs are welded, etc. This should be fine... I make my lots, lay them out in-game, thenj import them to modify as I am working on them, what is going on? ParoXum
This mesh seems to be corrupted. Work into Editable Poly, not Editable Mesh.
DexX
Here's what i do, and it works for me. Work in editable poly while doing all the modeling work. when you are ready to export put an "Edit Mesh" modifier on the object. With that modifier on, go to the Face sub object level, and detach the mesh to separate elements for each material ID. So if you have a object with 3 materials, detach along those 3 materials, into 3 "Elements" within the object. Now do the same thing, for each smooth group you have. I don't know if you used Kam's "EMesh Helper" but it has some serious flaws, namely that the "Delete old mesh" option doesn't work, and unaware persons are exporting double geometry.
