Reasons:

Basically I do not have a PS2 so I have no reason to support this petition. But I am planning to buy a PS3. Yes Rockstar did say that VCS will never be out for the PS2. But you can NEVER RULE OUT a port of VCS to the Playstation 3. Let's just hope that a port will be made for the PS3. Although I do not own a PS2, PS3 plays PS2 Games so I will still support this Petition.

Anyway, I'd like to play VCS on PS2 (or three or whatever). I've heard only bad things about it, though, and I've turned down offers to play it on PSP.

The only reason it wouldn't be ported is that - obviously - PS3 just came out. It'd just be weird. But they're still selling PS2 stuff and will probably continue to do so until the PS3 availability evens out enough to make it non-lucrative.

I don't think this petition will change R*'s mind, if they see it, that is. What I do think is that R* knows that if they port VCS over to PS2 and fix all the annoying bugs and glitches, it will sell well. Still, I respect your attempt at making a successful petition, Wacko. Good luck!

 

P.S. - Who ever said that it wont get ported to PS2 because the PS3 is out? The PS2 is still going strong and games for it are still being made.

I'm going to have to agree with the fella's who say it won't work.

The petition you have doesn't make sense to me. Is it actually going to make R* port VCS to the PS2? I'm pretty sure waiting till spring is a better idea. If they have any news of a port, they'll probably release it in the spring. IMO, the petition won't make a difference, but hell what do I know.

 

It is good to see you stand firmly on your belief and hope that this petition works. In other words, it's a nice attempt. But I can't see it even being taken into consideration by R*.
