wacko3.16 Posted November 25, 2006 Share Posted November 25, 2006 Right guys, this is my intention. I am starting this topic to start a petition to try and persuade R* to port VCS to the PS2. As you all know GTAforums.com is one of the most powerful voices heard on the internet within the GTA community. So, if you answer this with a simple yes, or put my name down, I will have a word document with all of your names on it. Which I will then try and ask one of the moderators to send to R* directly. If we have say 500 names (probably more, I duno how many people are on this forum) all wanting the same thing, R* will HAVE to listen up, as if they say no to all of these people, we will feel betrayed, so to speak . So, I am officially the first person to say "Yes" to this idea, and as I say, if anyone wishes to have the same say, post yes, makin sure I get your name, and I will add it to the list. Hopefully we will have our way, and not be deprived of this GTA installment, as in my opinion, to give us every single GTA on the PS2 except this one is a blatant cheek. We have seen them through the last what ....... 7 or odd years. Making them one of the greatest gaming companies on this Earth. R* said they have no plans but they did it with LCS so I'd expect it would be the same with VCS. LCS released for PS2 in March or April (don't remember when) so why don't you guys WAIT AND SEE instead of making topics like these. This most definitely won't work but I'll sign it anyway. LCS was a different story entirely, there barely any plans for GTA4 at that time. Now there is, so they might decide to feck us over with it. And I am not willing to pay £100 for a PSP. Dont diss this topic guys, everything is worth a try at least once. Have some faith, and maybe this will get the go ahead. Who said VCS is definately not being ported to PS2? R* said they currently have no plans for it. And about GTAIV, Rockstar Leeds made VCS on the PSP and Rockstar North are working on GTA IV. They didn't about the last petition about making GTA2's open source. So I doubt they will this time either. Rockstar have become very disconnected from the GTA community. I'll sign And you can compare EA Games to Rockstar Games how? There completly different companies with completely different ideas of how they want to do things. Being EA has always been a strong supporter of Gaming community (handing out modding tools, forums and fansite starter packs) it is typical for them to do such a thing.
