Say if they release it in May/June to the PS2, the PS3 by then would already be nearly well established. And releasing a PSP game for PS3 wouldn't be worth it either. But that is just my own opinion. First of all, even though LCS is the best selling PSP game, it still doesn't compare to the sales of any console GTA titles. Also, this fall we have two brand new consoles, and a number of anticipated, and critical/financial hits, such as Zelda: TP, Gears Of War, Rainbox Six:Vegas, and more. This fall is the closest to Fall '04(MGS 3, Metroid Prime 2, GTA:SA, Halo 2) in terms of critically and financially(Gears Of War is selling a lot of 360's, I'll tell ya) successful titles, whereas Fall '05 didn't really have much at all. Anti-LCS/VC Stories posts aside, wait and see. The PS2 port of LCS was only announced months before it was released(April '06), so give this "omg there has to be a ps2 port!111" stuff a rest. But you don't find those on the shelf still being retailed at major stores. People are going to go for the latest electronics on the market, no matter what the price is. Up until March this year believe it or not, that's right Sony were manufacturing PSOne's pre March this year! Most of them were probably sold on eBay. A couple were smashed... I mean, God of War 2 is coming out for the PS2 next year so I can definately see them bringing VCS over.
