silencio Posted November 24, 2006 Share Posted November 24, 2006 Woah...i can't believe this..but it actuall happened....i asked my mum to help me buy gta lcs and vcs cos i am only 15 and dont have the rights to buy the game cos my country banned it...so i asked my mom to help me buy it thru the official website....so we ordered it and printed out the order form and all...about 2 days later i received a formal letter frm rockstar saying that my order did not go thru cos i am in singapore and they onli deliver to US and canada....so i tot tats ok...but it seems they have charged money to my mom's credit card...i was like freaking shocked....eventually...i wrote a letter asking rockstar if they will deem the order void and cancel the charge....still waiting for the reply tho Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Check the bills and see if rockstar did charge you. If they did charge you, then they have to have a reason. Now i didnt say a good reason. You know how people these days, they only care about money. I mean I believe it does state they only ship to the US and Canada since they are an American based company. Still you would think if they were nice enough to let you know they don't ship to your location they would have already refunded the money back to you. They most likely will (Hopefully). If you can;t get VCS or LCS, try another website. Im sure there are a few sites out there that transport games to countires other than Canada and the United States. Well that depends, I was going to buy it from there and they do deliver around the world by Internation Post. But it does cost a fair bit extra, about 20 to 30 bucks. I bought LCS from them and it got shipped to me. And I live in Australia. I was pissed though coz the shipping was $30 and it took seven weeks if I remember correctly. by that time everyone had the f*cking game and it would have been easier to buy it from a shop, but hey, a "friend" of mine stole it anyway so who cares.... good luck. Anyway, sorry about your loss. Rockstar North as has been said are based in Scotland but generally Rockstar which encompasses all divisions are American based. silencio Posted November 28, 2006 Author Share Posted November 28, 2006 hehe..sorry abt the spelling error...."Rcokstar"....was damned pissed when i was typing out this.....anyways...i read the fine prints and even spent like 20 mins plus reading the privacy policy thing.....they did not mention abt anything abt exporting...or maybe was looking in the wrong page....anyways....yeah...my mom talked to the credit card company and they said they will drop the charges....quite understanding really....yeah....dunno where u guys got yr stuff frm....i got it personally frm rock* warehouse....hmmmm...anyhoo...at least the case is settled...
