A couple fun things to do...

First, get a big, fast, and heavy vehicle. The Swat team enforcer or the FBI Rancher work well for this.

 

Go to the Leaf Links Golf Course, preferably sometime in the morning, before lunch. Drive back and forth between the street the golf course entrance is on up till the bridge, then turn around and go back. You'll notice golf carts coming to and from the golf course, many pulling out to the main street.

 

Pick up some speed and come at them full force. Change camera views (furthest) to see how far and where they fly to. I've knocked a few into the water and I personally find it to be hilarious. Yes, I have too much time on my hands.

 

It really is fun.

Get a tank. Hell, get two. Have one for safe keeping. Take it for a spin around the West Island. Turn your turret to the very back and start blasting away while accelerating. You can make it fly faster than a cheetah. Be careful not to hit any small barricades because it will send you flying, which is ridiculous but that's the way it works unfortunately.

 

When you hit 6 stars, the tanks won't be able to get too close when you're blasting away. A great way to get your criminal rating up is to have a car ready at Sunshine auto when your tank takes too much of a beating, just go back and stick it in a garage and drive the car into the pay and spray. Save game and do it again and again and again.

 

Anyway, I'm new...just wanted to contribute that to the forum.

Why dont you just download a trainer and use the heavy car cheat? That way you could send any vehicle flying in the air (yeah, ok accept for the tank).

A year ago, I probably would have done just that. This game I'm playing now is cheat free. Plus, I'm only talking PS2 here, not PC. I haven't played the PC version yet and I won't be able to until I get a new computer. Both my laptop and my desktop have some serious virtual memory issues. It's only a matter of time before simply surfing the internet drives me insane. Watching movies is very annoying, 50% of the scenes don't show and the audio outruns the video. It's terrible.

That would heavily reduce the fun factor we're talking about.

Fun factor, eh? Believe me, throwing cars in the air with that cheat provides you plenty oh' fun. But i dont normally use cheats, i just mess around with them. Its easier to do this with a cheat, but it gets kinda boring after some time too. Car chases, and acting like a loony psychopath and shooting everything, yeah, thats for me .

One thing I do for fun sometimes it goto the docks, find me a good ol truck, hop in the back, shoot the truck the hope the car drives really fast in panic. This usaully isn't a good idea, you can lose alot of health if you fall out.
