Flav_cool
Hey, I realize there's official soundtracks out, but if you check out wikipedia for the soundtracks you'll see A LOT of the songs that were in the games, were not actually included. Any packs out there, or any guesses where I could find a complete pack? THanks Flaviu Edited November 24, 2006 by Flav_cool
Pranjal
I don't think songs other than the official ones are available . Still, it is advisable to run a web search of stores which might stock them.
Flav_cool
Ok well thanks for confirming. It's just dumb how they wouldn't include all of them officially.
Rickzu
Im gonna ask this again. Is there any possible way to get madd doggs song from opening cutscene of "vertical bird"?
tuareg
Im not sure madd ddogs songs are available. But how come they dont include all the songs? It maybe just a wiki kind of bullsh*t, that someone mis-typed. Anyway, dont worry im sure all of the songs are available on the cd. I mean, why would they take out songs from the sountrack? jarjar
They include all radio songs, well thats in the full pack, in the normal pack theres only like 22 songs I think. mortal_soldier - Only if your extract the audio for that mission. Stefan.
I've been looking to buy a soundtrack at Sanity, Big W, etc. but they don't have any. I don't want to buy off E-Bay 'cause it's not safe. Suggestions anyone? Anyway, mortal, if you're on the PC, maybe you can find a ripping program and rip it off. I'm not sure if that's legal on the Forums; please correct me if I'm wrong.
jarjar
It is hard to find a place to buy the soundtrack yes, but not impossible, try asking big Music Stores, they always have them ones. Yes you can extract the music from the game, and it is not illegal or against the rules. Contrary to popular belief, it is totally within your rights to do so. You must however have the PC version. Do a Google search for "san andreas audio extractor" and you should find it.
Stefan.
Thank you jarjar, appreciate it. By 'big music stores', can you please give me some examples of some?
GTA3Freak-2001
Yeah Australia has always missed out on the release of the soundtracks, I was bloody annoyed myself that I couldn't buy the Vice City Soundtrack in any forms locally. Really the best way if you want the songs from the games is to simply use Wikipedia as a reference and source the songs individually which yes can take alot of time and more money. There is the option of using some shady methods that can't be mentioned here *cough*p2p,torrents etc.*cough* Oh and regarding ripping the songs from the game, Rockstar don't really like that and have asked us with regards to San Andreas to not allow it. So there are programs that can help you rip the audio out there you just have to go and find them.

Others just looked at me like I had to heads. Stefan Matovic Cvetkovic - Sanity is you know them or they are near you, there good.
Stefan.
Yeah, I agree: Sanity's the best. Pity they closed down the one in DFO, Moorabin Airport.
Berrern
If you have the PS2 version of GTA:SA, you can use this tool to extract radio audio (songs, chatter, commercials, phone-ins, announcements etc.) from the DVD: http://www.tinyted.net/eddie/SanAndreasRadio/ Enjoy
Stefan.
Good idea. Anyway, I have the PC Version for all my ripping pleasures.
nealmac
Well because of SA (Radio X, to be precise), I downloaded Soundgardens "Rusty Cage", and Alice In Chains "Them Bones", and I'm now a fully fledged fan of both bands.
