A lot of people poohpooh texture/tuning mods - personally (assuming the original author authorizes) I reckon additional textures and minor bug tune-outs enrich the overall package in the end, if they are submitted to the author so they can be included - they also allow for more exposure of a mod, given the publicity from the tuning release, plus they leave more people happy, since they get to choose what suits best from a package with alternatives.
