Finally kicked the bastards off the TV who were standing between me and my beloved new game. Best intro for a game ever. Checked out a few lines and did a few tutorials. From what I've seen, though, not only is the whole feel of the game awesome; the city is fu*king huge. When I saw I was only in a tiny portion of what was the rest of the city, I just put down the controller and decided best wait for tomorrow night where I can take it all in nicely. Right now I'm debating with myself on whether or not I should skip my classes tomorrow for this. Hard as hell to be consistent with tricks, tre flips aren't an every attempt thing.. Crazy. Along with PGR4 and Halo 3, this is on my TO BUY list. I'm so glad EA didn't feck this up. It's kind of difficult aligning yourself up for a perfect shot at a line slowly wheeling around on the board. Now I don't want to jump eight feet in the air or string combos like in TH, but being able to improvise and set yourself on-foot would be great. All the things in the game are set up so you dont have to get off your board. That way youll never interupt your tricks. My friend got skate on Friday and i played at his house. It was sooooo awesome. i never want to play tony hawk ever again. I played the skate demo during the summer unfortunately i couldnt play the crap out of it cause i dont own a a360 yet. SIP YEK NOD Posted September 18, 2007 Share Posted September 18, 2007 (edited) oh man, that game is sooooooooooo awesome. i just showed TEoS and Zak. who's the man in big-air i have to get some videos of that sh*t, its amazing. this is really pissing me off, the game got a 9.0 from IGN, farily high scores elsewhere, and jeff gertsmann from gamespot just gave it a 7.5. he also gave Bioshock a 9.0 in a sea of 10s. i think its entirely possible he just doesn't enjoy gaming anymore. My only real gripe about the game is that the replay only records 25 or so seconds, and some of my lines go for upwards to a minute. But I'll get over it.
