ryuclan Posted April 5, 2008 Share Posted April 5, 2008 Its like real skating, the longer you do it the better you get, then it becomes 2nd nature and you can do it without even thinking, and sometimes do the tricks on the controller with your toes. lol I don't know about all that. Only drawback for me is my inclination towards the right side of the right analog. All of my tricks come from that way and its hard for me to do them to the left. This made it hard for me on Fight night too. You can always go switch, and then all the controls are reversed. Which helps for when you cant do one direction but you can do another. Yeh I do that alot but not to do tricks the other way but so that my right foot is the back foot. I press A more then X because I'm used to THPS. When your coming down you tilt the controller up or down just enough to get the board off the ground. Keep it like that. After a while it gets so easy that it starts to lose it's glamour. You gently push the right analog stick forward (Nose Manual) or back (Manual), about halfway, then you should go into a manual. If you go far enough you get this cool slow-mo thingy. The replay value in the game is great I would love to freeskate but the lag drives me fuggin crazy... Yeah, it's horrible how bad it is. EA actually produced a good game, but they need to step it up when it comes to online.
