Vanillainy Posted November 23, 2006 Share Posted November 23, 2006 (edited) Recently, i have just got a Radeon X1950 Pro 256mb gfx card and when playing games (online or offline) i will get a lag spike every so often. Happens with all games i play. Ive tried changing the settings on the games but even running everything on low, i still get it. I know its not to do with net connection, i can be pinging at like 30 and i get it. Ive updated it with the recent drivers and have the lates DirectX(9) Specs (lol): Any ideas? Vanillainy Posted November 25, 2006 Author Share Posted November 25, 2006 It happens with all games : CoD2, DoD:S, BF2 etc. I used to have a Radeon X300 and everything ran smoothly but with mostly low settings. dertyjerzian Posted November 25, 2006 Share Posted November 25, 2006 Try Omega drivers, it may or may not help, but they're worth it either way (they're usually better than current drivers, and they have a lot of extra options). Not sure the actual address, might be omegadrivers.net, but try google first. Also, you may need to adjust a lot of Dx settings with your new card.
