icepik23 Posted November 23, 2006 Share Posted November 23, 2006 hi, i just finished OG Loc's missions and there are no more "letter missions" in the map! i haven't even gone through the other places in the entire map. can anyone help? how do i unlock other missions to proceed with the storyline? San Anzeas Posted November 23, 2006 Share Posted November 23, 2006 Have u completed Sweet's missions(S on map).... Then after og loc big smoke gives u more missions(B)..... There are also ryder's missions® Then 1 Cesar's mission(CV) C.R.A.S.H© Sweet also gives u a mission at Ammunition(S)..... Check out and see !!!!!!! BTW have u used any mods ??? icepik23 Posted November 23, 2006 Author Share Posted November 23, 2006 did them all man.. there are no more letters in the map. haven't left the island either. no more red circle thingy. i read the walkthrough and Sweet (S) suppose to have the "Doberman" mission but there are no more "S" letter in the map. Also, there aren't any maps that can help me find the Ammu-nation area. When i view the map, it doesn't show any territories even if i have enabled them all. Does the hotcoffee mod ruin the game? Hey I'm not sure if it affects ur missions (phonecalls) not coming but I myself dont like to use mods ..... I havent installed a single mod till date..... except for some nice useful ones like cutscene viewer.... Hey many people have tried this strategy to get missed calls... Get wasted and u'll spawn at the hospital and then u'll probably get those phonecalls !!!! Only thing u wont like is that hospital visits stat incremented... But in this situation what else could u do ?? huh ?? Might as well give it a try ....... "Hot coffee" only unlocks the hidden scenes of GTASA which were not to be seen normally. It does so by flipping the censor status of the game.There is no way it can affect your gameplay. Well never heard of it from anyone.Is it a documented fact or just a single-person experience?Anyway I don't think that is even an issue with this topic because the guy has claimed to have completed all of OG Loc's missions which anyway require you to receive a few phone calls. If u get all ur phone calls and ur off to complete the game further then I dont see why u wont mind losing ur weapons ....... BTW u can see only one gym which is the one in LS ??? Thats because u havent unlocked the remaining areas of the map and they are greyed out..... So obviously u cant see the gym icons in those areas of the map..... icepik23 Posted November 24, 2006 Author Share Posted November 24, 2006 (edited) the one near my neighborhood does not have the weight icon too... luckily i managed to drive by it after a couple of days playing. and even if i already found it (used it as in i do the threadmills and benchpress and beat the crap out of that boxer dud), it still does not show a weight icon in the map like what some people here said. ow btw, i tried what u suggested. i died and was spawned in a hospital. i drove back to my house, saved the game, and drove around. *no phone calls*... and here's the interesting part. I drove all the way past the island and confirmed that it's unlocked. i even got to ride a helicopter and date one of his other girlfriends. here's an image of my map before my discovery. notice that there are no gym icon in it. http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y28/icepik23/nogym.jpg should i uninstall the game and reinstall it without the hotcoffee? ow and another question. if i copy my save data and load it in my saved games after reinstalling the game, will hotcoffee still exist in it? it'll surely sucks if i have to do all the missions again... thanks for the help san anzeas! As for the save files, try loading them after the fresh installation.If they work perfectly, it is better for you.If not, then you have to start a new game. Hey firstly did u try in the map ,pressing spacebar and going to blips menu.... Check if everything is shown on map viz.contacts,gang areas maybe u turned contacts and some other things off. Secondly if all the areas are unlocked then ur probably using hot coffee mod v2.1 which unlocks the entire map too(a small modification to make game more enjoyable) i.e there is a small mod included to unlock everything from the beginning of the game.... Also u get girlfriends right from the start..(Heart icon) That means that u get Denise Robinson (heart next to CJ's house) as girlfriend right after the first cutscene in the mission..... Thats what I think or maybe not..... Correct me if I'm wrong....... So u could try using sacensor.exe and flip censorship flag.... That might help.......... I'm not sure if it'll work 100%.Try it........ Lastly even if u manage to do a complete and clean installation of the game without the hot coffee mod(i.e original unmodded version of the game) u will not be able to use ur current save game as it is suited only for hot coffee mod script and will crash if loded with v1 script of game (original one).......... So the only way I see it is to try the first thing of checking whether all things in the map are shown as blips on map...... Coz who knows u might have not noticed it carefully....... Also I'd advise never to use any kind of cheats in the future whether u start a new game or not...... Personally I feel u should go for a clean install of the game ...... Original and unmodded !!!!! There will not be a single trace of the Hot Coffee Mod then ..... Thats what I like ........... Best Of Luck !!!!!!!!!! And U r always Welcome....... icepik23 Posted November 25, 2006 Author Share Posted November 25, 2006 hi thanks again for the reply. i've uninstalled the game.. will install it again soon. to answer ur question, yes i've already make sure that all blips are turned on (gang territories, legend, etc., all are turned on). i even tried turning some of them off and see what happens but nothing. i'll try finishing the game first before i install the hotcoffee next time. will post again if this does not fix the issue. thanks again!
