Joel Kroll
Why not go into the Audio settings and turn it off?
Ben
Not quite sure why this is here, or why you felt the need to bump it <11 hours after first posting it . Anyway, there's a couple of options you've got, depending on which GTA you're referring to. The easiest would be to turn it off in the Settings, however there are other methods. For example, you could create blank WAV files for GTA3, or blank ADF files for VC - see here, which is my custom set I created a while ago. Editing the radio for SA is a bit more complicated though I believe. Also, in VC (I haven't yet found similar functions in III or SA), you can set the preferred radio station in the default.ide. At the top of the IDE is the PEDs section, and you'll notice this bit just before the main data begins: # radio stations# Rap 0# Pop 1# Interview 2# Soul 3# Rock 4# Current affairs 5# Spanish 6# Fernando 7# new wave 8# off 9 Then, you'll notice this bit just underneath that: # modelId, ModelName, TxdName, Default pedtype,# animGroup(man,cop,woman,fatwoman,sexywoman...), cars can drive mask(in hex), # animfile, radio1, radio2 The only important bit in that segment is the radio1 and radio2 descriptors, which correspond with the 2 end columns in the actual PED data. In your case, if you wanted to turn it off, you'd set the 2 numbers in the last 2 columns to 9, so in each case it would look like: 9,9 It's up to you which one you choose to go with - most people would probably just take the easy options, although I figured the last one might be interesting to a few people (who may not have known about it) .
