San Anzeas
CRC(Cyclic Redundancy Check) error mostly occurs due to corrupt files....... It is a common error in encryption....... But could u plz elaborate on the details of the error like when u get it etc........ That'll help to understand the problem better.......

But San Andreas comes on a DVD....... and original NEW DVD'S couldn't get damaged or corrupt so fast ......... Weird !!!!!!! BTW during installation can't u ignore the errors ?????? I think u'd better search this (troubleshooting ) forum for similar topics and see if u can find a solution...... Normally if u get CRC errors i dont think u can do much about it...... Pranjal
"The file D:\.....\GTA San Andreas\audio\SFX\SPC_NA doesn't match the file in the set up's .cab file" Seems suspicious to me. Are you sure you have a genuine copy of the game?

Moosh
well I bought it at Tower Recoreds.... However, I've noticed that in rockstar games's site there's a seconed edition or something of the game (for PC platform).... since I can't tell which edition my game, maybe that's the problem? (my country brings us pc&psp games year after the rest of the world.)
Pranjal
since I can't tell which edition my game, maybe that's the problem? Usually you can find out the version of GTASA by going to the Add/Remove Programs Menu in the Control Panel or by going to the main menu while the game is running. The Version 2 tag can be seen in the lower right corner. But since you are not even able to install the game itself, you can see the external package to find the version number.
Moosh
I can install it, but not completely. and if I do, the game wouldn't work... and I couldn't find out which edition the game is....I think it's the 1st..
Pranjal
Try contacting the official Take 2 Interactive support detailing your problem. Link : Take 2 support BTW, note that it is only valid if you have a legal version of the game.
