hot-devil
In the GTA2 Movie, one scene shows Claude Speed Reporting to a mob boss telling him he has killed a guy he asked him to. Claude takes out a photo and uses a knife to stab it, suggesting he killed the guy in the photo. The guy in the Photo looks 90% like Ryder, wearing a Cap with the words "Las Vegas" instead of "San Andreas".
Stefan.
You obviously haven't played through the storyline yet... In the mission 'Area 69', CJ kills Ryder as he escapes on a speedboat out of San Fierro. Anyway, why would Ryder where a cap saying 'Las Vegas' whe, first of all, there is no Las Vegas in the GTAIII universe; it was replaced by Las Venturas. You have not obviously played the storyline either! The mission where Ryder is killed is called "Pier 69" because the showdown takes place on Pier 69 in San Fierro. Kanney
Screenie? Needing proof for something like that.
XxDarkxPsychicxX
Some people on the street in Las Venturas look like Elvis but it doesn't mean they are Elvis. And in the VCS trailer (2), in the scene with Diaz swinging the gun, one guy in the background looks like Tommy, but it's really not him.
Ottae
Use spoiler tags numpties! I'll check my GTA2 video and have a look.

Stefan.
Sorry BCB. I have played through the storyline 4 times, so don't give me any crap. I meant 'Pier 69' of course. Come on, I'm a careless typer.
hot-devil
I have Completed the Storyline Missions in EVERY GTA Game except GTA London 1961 and London 1969. I'm not trying to say Ryder died, but just merely stating that Ryder in SA is based on the Person in the Photograph in the GTA2 Promo Movie
TheDude5000
Las Vegas in the GTAIII universe; it was replaced by Las Venturas. Or rather, the GTA universe, because since R* haven't said otherwise, all future games will take place in the same universe. Just had to clear this up. WiseOneEddie
I'm not trying to say Ryder died, but just merely stating that Ryder in SA is based on the Person in the Photograph in the GTA2 Promo Movie No, you weren't intending to say that. You just said that Ryder would die in 2013, which is impossible cos he died like 21 years before that, in 1992. Or if you could at least try to make your post a little more clearer, you're sounding too vague. And the topic title is misleading.
Stefan.
Yeah it seems like you're writing a fanfic with a poor title.
TonyZimmzy
Everytime I've played SA, I've always killed Ryder on the boat, does he get off the boat and go onto land atall, where you can shoot him?, Because he could of survived the boat explosion, but, I doubt it
Ottae
It looks nothing like him. The similarities is that he was a black hat with "Las Vegas" that's it. Ryder's cap says Los Santos which isn't even the same place. I'll get a pic soon.

Stefan.
Is it possible to pop Ryder in the head?
Berrern
Yes, if you're quick with the sniper rifle you'll get him before he reaches the boat
