moniman50
I just wanted to start a topic that fully analized where Vic went wrong and started to advacate the actual drug game so just fill free to place any theories and also state if it was mainly Lance's fault or if Vic had an inner killer inside of him Peace And Remember Get that Moni Man -Moniman50
Greene
I think Vic was too easily influenced by his brother, its CJ all over again. I can't count the number of times Vic said he didn't want anything to do with drugs yet he got involved everytime. I liked Vic but in a way, he was a hipocrit. He said he didn't want anything to do with drugs but he became a drug kingpin
Seddo
Well first of all he dd the dirty work for Martinez and got him kicked out of the army he didnt have to do it but he chose to do it. Second when Marty kidnapped Louise and Vic had to chase them down he didnt have to kill Marty but he did, even Louise said that he didnt need to kill him. Then when he took over all of Marty's Empires, he then got a bit greedy with money and started taking over more and more Then he started working with people he deal with drugs and he probally got cuaght in the hype and the money, this is what probally started turning him. moniman50
I believe he was sort of pushed because the actual situation of where he was after he was kicked out by Martinez so I think after that he just continued to do what ever he could do to make money then Louise came in the situation and almost showed him the ropes by helping start his gang then taking over Marty's business Then finally the problem was made worst by Lance coming and taking advantage of Vic then taking him deep in the drug game Hey how do you do the black highlighter thing sorry about the actual spoilers Edited November 22, 2006 by moniman50

scalliano
... I want to know how he spiralled down to the moment where diaz killed him in GTA: Vice City, I mean what made their relationship turn bloody because in the game they were on good terms. It's explained in VCS that Diaz doesn't like the idea of people dealing on his turf without his involvement. Gonzalez (Col. Cortez's gimp) is evidence of this. My take on it is that Diaz found out about the Vance brothers' coke deal, got pissed off and set about sabotaging it. Vic's main fault was that he was literally a doormat. Almost everyone he met walked all over him; Martinez, Marty, Lance and, indeed, Diaz to an extent. This fault got him kicked out of the army and left him on the street with no prospects other than doing odd jobs for seedy types and, before he knew it, he was slinging base to all and sundry. Organized crime isn't something you can quit easily, even if you want to.
saintdave
Although he objected to almost all he did in VCS, I think in his mind it was just about getting back at Martinez. Sure he would have to do some bad things along the way but having been wrongly accused and booted from the Army hurt him.

I personally believe that the deal in Vice City's intro was not an assasination of Vic. I think it was just that Diaz heard about a deal taking place behind his back so he attacked and took the money and the drugs. A major element of my theory is the fact that Lance continues working for Diaz after the deal. If Diaz was trying to kill the Vance brothers why would he allow Lance to continue working for him? He would just have him killed. I think it adds up alot better but thats just my opinion.
Kippers
Well MAYBE, i'm just throwing stones here becuase this si the first thing that came into my mind. Maybe Vic gets into a spot of trouble sometime down the line between the 2 games and goes bankrupt. At the end of VCS either Lance or Vic (Can't rmember which) says something about just sitting on the coke a while and seeing what happens. so Lance being the addict that he is decides to set up drug deal to get a bit of cash flowing for Vic (We don;t know Vic's financial state at the start of VC obviously) Vic being the easy to persuade guy that he is in VCS helps Lance with the deal. Deal goes wrong etc etc again, just throwing stones here. 習うより慣れろ

A.M.G
Lance influenced him. Vic didn't want to drug traffic with lance but vic had to to support lance and his family.
