Scottlee
After playing all the other games, I was looking forward to San Andreas. I booted it up on my trusty PS2 for the very first time yesterday. However... Is it just me or are movements now controlled by the analogue stick? wtf is this? I'm so used to using the directional pad that I'm just finding this impossible. Is there absolutely no way to change the controls? I'd find it quite dismaying if a game as big and as famous as this one didn't offer varying control systems. Not only does the analogue stick have me swerving all over the road but it quite literally hurts my thumb after about two minutes.
Demarest
You have to allow for an adjustment period as you get used to it.
Rickzu
I hear you. I used directional pad while playing VC and i was confused with the analogue, but after a while i found it ALOT better than directional buttons, since you dont need to lift your finger from button to another, and it works like real life steering wheel. It is also esier to fly planes with it, because it works like joystick (wich is great).
Gil
Same here, first time was a disaster. the best bit (I think) is that when you push the stick forward a bit, the camera raises and you get a better overview when you approach a stoplight / intersection.
