Splinter Cell Double Agent

Recommended Posts

As the title says, does anyone own this for the 360?

I have this for the ps2 and seeing the advertisements on TV for the 360 version it looks like we ps2 owners have been stiffed on a few levels.

i.e. in the advertisement, Sam's in some sandy/desert country and we see him climbing up the side of a train, while its in motion.

Ive completed the game and didnt come across a level in the desert, but there was a train level, but it looked nothing like the one on TV.

Can anyone confirm this?

The Phantom Menace

I own the 360 version and it's true - The two consoles have different features aswell as a slight alteration to the story line. In the 360 version there is a mission where you do take on a mission that is set in a desert/sandy location. However though, I've played through the game several times and in no instance have I ever come across a mission that involves trains. It seems odd though that the two consoles have different features and story lines. I'd of thought they'd be both the same to be honest.

  • 4 weeks later...

Just wondering

a) how long this is compared to Chaos Theory

b) whether it has co-operative play

c) whether said co-operative play is implemented better than in Chaos Theory (ie. are the frequent disconnections, lag, and connection problems still there?)

In regards to the PC version.

MyMothersMySister

I never played Chaos theory so can't make any comparisons at all but I have playued through the 360 version and have not see any trains in motion with Sam climbing up them, Doesn't help the fact that my game crashes on the second half of the African mission every time.

Yes there is coop and it's very stable.

The multiplayer is also very stable and well balanced between the spies and upsilon.

The game isn't too long but I didn't find it that short either. I'm almost at the end but as I said I get a read error at the same point. Not far from the end though and the playability due to irt's multiplayer makes it worth the money. It's £25 in Blockbuster in England. Deal of the week or some shiz and it's deffo worth the pickup.

I always find that on SC games, if you know what you're doing you can get through the game pretty quickly. I'm always tempted to just leg it through the missions, only sneaking when there's an enemy near, but then it doesnt feel like your playing the game properly sad.gif

Cheers, that sounds excellent. I may just have to pick myself up a copy in the near future smile.gif

No starforce ftw.

Damn video game companies, I'm never going to get the money together for this 5.8 grand trip to Peru sad.gif
