Vanillainy
I think if i remeber correctly, it plays the VCS theme. And the cut scene is just a bunch of cars driving about.

jarjar
thats just like the LCS credits then. Same as nearly all GTA Games credits, GTA3, VC and SA had the same thing. With a few differences of course.
CarpetDweller
It's been a while since I watched the end credits to all the games, but I seem to remember the non "stories" credits" being better. With both of the PSP games I have actually felt a huge let down that it appeared no real effort had gone into them. In both cases they simply showed a random car driving down a random street. It did absolutley nothing interesting before it cut to another random car doing exactly the same thing. This repeats through the very long credits sequence. In both cases I felt compelled to watch the whole thing as surely there must be more than this. There should be some sort of pay-off or at least something interesting (in my opinion). In my case there wasn't any music for a very long time then a song (likely the theme) started and played through. Then the same song repeated again. It might have played through a 3rd time but I remember that it just ended at no particular point and I was back in free roam. I'm sure that GTA3, VC and SA put a little bit more effort into it, but I might have been wrong. I seem to remember sweeping views across the landscape with more interesting angles. I believe a game ending should flow something like this: 1 - Difficult final mission. Should take at least a few tries and make you feel like you have achieved something once complete. 2 - Final cutscene - Sums up the end of the story. Ties up loose ends or provokes intended questions for the player. 3 - Credits sequence. (I feel I should want to watch these). It should feature lots of reminders about the game experience. Artistic views of the places we have visited, characters we have encountered and vehicles we have used. These could be clips from cutscenes or specially made new ones just for the ending. It needs to be dramatic and the music should tie-in with it and end at the same time as the credits. The camera point of view should be one that we don't generally see in normal game-play. 4. Once the credits roll to an end and the music stops the game should fade back to free-roam with the announcement that the storyline is completed and info about any particular rewards for this. I really enjoyed these games but it did annoy me that these endings are as boring as they are.
saintdave
Correct me if im worng but did GTA 3 have music in the ending credits? It did, some sort of generic rock music R* made specifically for the ending. While playing the camera pans through different areas of Liberty City. 88survivor
How did VCS.....was it like VC in a way? A cool ending, though...
GTA_Loco
I can agree with rebalrouser. GTA3 still has the best music during the credits roll up. Ending scenario wise, VC is 1st, GTA3 2nd, SA 3rd, LCS 4th and VCS last. Rockstar could have made a more dramatic ending for VCS, considering that you can almost say it comes second best after SA of all the GTA series. 88survivor
That I cannot comment on since I haven't played VCS, but I did played LCS, SA, VC, and GTA3.
.:Alex:.
Oh. My. God. I too, watched the entire LCS ending in the hopes that something cool would happen. Never again will I do such a thing. It goes on forever with just the camera attaching itself to random cars. I swear it lasted 40 minutes! They need something cool. Like showing what happened to other characters throughout the adventure perhaps?
saintdave
Not only did LCS randomly focus on cars driving around Liberty City but it continually repeated the theme music for the entirety of the end credits. As for VCS maybe someone will eventually record the end credits and host on the net, after all the opening credits have been recorded and are available to watch on the net.
