I take you haven't really done any transferring of files from a PC to your PSP? There are two ways either take your memory stick and put it into your PC's memory card reader(if you have one), the best way imo is with the USB cable. The PSP uses a Mini-B USB cord that you'll find comes with any Sony related device such as a camcorder or digital camera so if you've got one of them you'll be sure to have the right cord. If you don't you can buy them any place that sells PSP stuff, there are many special PSP ones that have a power connector as well so you can charge/power your PSP via USB.
