Regrind
im workin on the taxi missions for 100% completion. They are boring and i want them done fast.is a taxi or cabbi better?
Rashon.
Well, I heard the Taxi is slightly faster and better durability but the Cabbie has better handling and control. I'd say go with the Taxi.
Vanilla Shake
I'd go with the Taxi. It's a little faster, and doesn't run the risk of flipping over on tight turns. TC718 / <629 / CF5
pimp_60cent
Ill have to agree with the two dude above me the taxi is slightly fatser
saintdave
Reading the car database guide on gameFAQs revealed that both are rated equally as fast and that the Taxi is able to reach a top speed of 80mph compared to the Cabbies top speed of 79mph. That said the Cabbie is more durable meaning it will last longer if you tend to smash up your vehicles but as is well known since GTA 3, the handling of a Taxi has always been superior to the Cabbie and is every ones choice for the taxi missions. Rashon.
Oh yeah, Dave's right. I got the durability and handling mixed up. The Taxi is slightly faster with better control but it has bad durability. The Cabbie is as fast as he Taxi but it has lower acceleration so it gets to top speed slower and it has horrible handling. Vanilla Shake
I'd still go with the Taxi... TC718 / <629 / CF5
OG Loke
The cabbie is actually faster but the taxi is your best bet if you want to get it done as fast as possible and in one peice.
nealmac
I'd rather the Taxi. The Cabbie is to prone to flipping over.
zombieboy
I would have to say cabbie better handling, better going around corners and I think they pick up speed faster then the normal taxi
TenaciousD.
Taxi handles better but Cabbie is more durable, it all depends on your driving style really.
simplyunkillable
i use the cabbie. why? it turns corners just as good as a taxi (body roll is NOT bad handeling), and there is no notacable difference. or, it looks hawt.
zombieboy
but if only u could drift with cars in GTA games it would be a lot faster and better in my mind
simplyunkillable
you can drift, if you actually know how to in real life (RWD only, press the gas and brakes while turning sharply). but drifting is actually SLOWER than cutting a corner properly.
