But the PS3 I can't afford (and will be released in March here), and 360 looks like it's close or better than PS3 graphs. Fanboys suck. Enough said. All your statements in console discussions should be ignored, since your dislike for $ony is clearly evident. Someone said, weeks after the Xbox 360 launched, that people think most of the consoles were failing (from overheating, in this case, crashing) because people who were happy with their console wouldn't waste time posting in forums. Yet, of course, people with crashing units would go and post in every Xbox forum they could, looking for an answer, and a solution. I guess, the same goes for the PS3. What many of you fail to see, is the true sense of competition, in which both products are alike, not the same, but very close. This gives the costumer a choice. And some are able to have both. Better forget what you read in blogs. Most authors biased. digg likes linux a lot, gizmodo is criticised for its Apple fanboy-ism. In the end, just think for yourself, try both consoles then decide. SIP YEK NOD Posted December 21, 2006 Share Posted December 21, 2006 so i went into walmart looking for a wii, and what did i find? a 60gb ps3 sitting on a shelf, and xbox 360 games invading the ps3 games allotted space. now, to be honest, if they would have had RFOM in....anywhere...i would have gone back to walmart and bought it, but after getting home i realized that may have been a bad idea 10 dollars under new price unsold for retail price $68 under retail reserve not met, closed 50 bucks under retail 70 bucks under retail lmfao, somebody missed the boat and started drowning looks like the honeymoon is over, sweetheart. Whats the point of arguing when we could all just play video games in peace. Anyways, I pick 360. HD, sweet games, awesome online with ability to download stuff despite the Xbox Live pay which does not bother me. And other reasons too which I dont feel like explaning. Didn't ask where they got it from, though. They had the Motorstorm demo running. The graphics were nothing special. By that, I mean it looks nothing like something that couldn't be done on either my PC or a 360. Not sure if there was anti-aliasing or not, but there were some jaggies evident. That said, 1080i on a 360 and there is still some jaggies, but that would have to be with the interlaced resolution. Xbox360 can use 4x MSAA with basically no harm to performance due to it's efficency, unlike the RSX. Nice to see ATi have made that move. The controller was nothing special. I expected to see some use of the SixAxis capabilities, but unless I missed something, nothing. The new slapped on triggers don't feel nearly as good as those on the Xbox and 360. The game itself felt nothing special, but I guess it's an early demo anyway. The truck that I was using didn't feel that fast and the way it drove just bored me to death. No oversteer, the bastard just understeered like all hell. Until there is a game with better graphics, better gameplay and something that makes use of the SixAxis, i'll stand by my opinion that PS3 really does suck ass. I must say it's hell fun. HELL FUN! I saw the tennis and the bowling games. Up to this point I'm thinking on both PS3 and Wii instead of PS3 and X360. I've always liked Playstations, but so far, most of the games that have come out that I like have been on all consoles. The 360 looks so appealing to me. By the time I get saved up for the PS3, the hardware issues should be fixed. My boyfriend has a Wii, so all good there. Having that said, I've only played the Wii and the 360. All it looked like was a smooth 30, nothing less, nothing more. the downloadable demo is much, much better, but still not as great as promised. another thing i have noticed about the ps3, after enough content comes out, the dashboard will be painfully unorganized, there is just no order. every game related item is in one list, every internet related item is another list and yet another thing, what the f*ck is with demos "installing" the 360 is downlod and go, the ps3 you have to wait 5 minuites after its downloaded for it to install.
