Saggy
So, I don't know if it's just me, but just about every image posted in a thread, or in somone's signature is a "user posted image". Avatars no longer work as well, and the only thing that seems operable is the little gang-icons underneath one's avatar. Evidence: Evidence 1 Evidence 2 It seems to be just me, so I don't know, I'm confused. The rest of the internet works just fine. fred
It's nothing to do with gtaf - the gang icons, skin images, etc. which are the only images hosted on the gtanet server load fine. Since its every image, I would guess you've got some browser setting (or something similar - firewall, ad blocker, etc.) that blocks external images. IIRC, earlier versions of firefox had it as "load images for originating site only".

IIRC, earlier versions of firefox had it as "load images for originating site only". Yeah, that's what I figured, but I can't seem to find anything in FireFox that's not allowing images to load, and I've got no other firewall or other software on this computer that would do something like that. I guess I'll go hunt in FireFox some more. EDIT Well, I've done a little tinkering, and this is the situation: On my other computer, images will load fine on this account. On this computer however, GTAForums will display the "user posted image" text string (which I thought was a result of GTAForums' software). FireFox is set to allow all images, I've tried clearing my cache, I've tried reinstalling FireFox, etc. Every setting is identical to my other computer's settings, yet I only get "user posted image" on this one. Every other site I've browsed functions perfectly, so I'm still kind of caught up on whether this is something to do with my computer or with GTAForums. The fact it works fine on my other computer makes me think something is different with this one, but for the life of me I can't figure out what it is. uzer
The user posted image is a firefox thing, you'd get a red X in IE. Could be something adblock or hosts file related, or maybe the images are stored in your other computers cache?

But, I resorted to my old means of just deleting my profile to fix said-mysterious-problem (backing everything up of course with FEBE). Anyway, the new profile works just fine; I have no idea what could've caused the other profile to have gone hay-wire.
