papanesta
£180. Got to select what I wanted with my Wii in Virgin yesterday, picked Zelda as the only game I want with it. Obviously as Wii Sports comes with it anyway. Got to hold the controller as well. Wow.

RoAcHcliP
Those of you that have one.... I am a very poor student but recently all this wii talk (and internet video viewing) has made me REALLY want one. The question is, is it definately worth it? does it rock? Those of you who got one, are you really pleased with it? cheers

Mark Pagliaro
I plan to get a Wii I really want the Zelda game and some of the classic Zelda games too. I also want to buy a PS3 mainly because sadly I am a sony fanboy but not one that would bash other systems just one that owns each system sony puts out. However the 360 also interests me this generation where as the xbox never really phased me last gen so I may own all of the 3. I also have plans for a new PC next year. Its going to be a bad year money in the bank wise but great for my gaming.
Brutuz
The Wii looks great, are there any car driving games out there? I hope I get one for Christmas Need for Speed carbon is out soon (I think the 14th) for Wii.

NOTE FOR FUTURE WII OWNERS: Zelda is slow for the first 1-3 hours of the game, but as soon as it begins to get fun, it gets really, really fun...shockingly fun... Could be bullsh*t, but still doesnt stopped the seat of my pants from filling up. Please god dont let it be true.
Vanzant
I'm getting 15 Nintendo's in my department Tommarow morning, I keep getting asked about Zelda. I haven't been able to test the machine out at work yet, but I keep getting asked if the Zelda game works with the "classic" controller.

Jordan
I hate to say this because I dislike EA...but...I highly recommend Madden for Wii. I'm having a ton of fun with it. I played it last night for hours. It has a learning curve of a few hours, though. I recommend practicing a lot before your first game.
RoAcHcliP
Does the novelty run out really quickly? are you already bored with wii sports? And is zelda a good idea for a game, ive never played a zelda game in my life. Well, i just gone out and pre-ordered one. Im really paranoid about this because £180 is a lot of money to me. My mates are teasing me that i will get bored of it very quickly Edited December 6, 2006 by RoAcHcliP

GTA3Freak-2001
Well its Wii day in Australia, retailers are showcasing their Wii stuff. I must say after trawling through the major retailers catalogues and seeing the prices I can say that Nintendo are going to make an absolute killing just here in Australia let alone the rest of the world. The consoles price is great, but that's not where it stops the games are cheaper by about 20 bucks and then the accessories are also cheap especially compared to MS or Sony's stuff. Nintendo have placed themselves in a great position and it wouldn't surprise me if they win out this console generation.

I've seen it as low as $388 and as high as $399 so costs as much as a PSP basically. What's more likely to be bought by parents for their kids? A Xbox 360 at $600 or a Nintendo Wii at $399? That's where Nintendo have the market worked out and why they are going to make a killing. I don't even want one yet I am excited about it, they just seem to be doing the right things and it pleases me to see that they will do well. Kanney
This sucks. The place I was getting it here in Ireland, a store called Argos, had Wii's coming in, but now since they sold out in Britain, the Irish ones are being shipped back there. Wankers!!! f*ckin raging at the moment.
