Quick PSP question.

Just wondering, to save music on the memory stick I know you create a folder called "music" on the stick when the PSP is connected to your computer and copy the files to it and ditto with photos, but how do you copy videos to the stick? Created a folder called "video" on the stick using my comp and copied some over but it doesn't recognise them?

Try using an app called PSP Movie Creator. There you can convert to PSP format plus it transfer to the right folder in the stick. There's a different folder to each format (e.g.: mp4 [avc] = MP_ROOT/100ANV01).

As of firmware 2.80, [drive]:\VIDEO\xxxxxxx.mp4 is an acceptable file path and doesn't require all the 100ANV001 crap.

also try formating the memory stick, you can do this on the psp

 

heres how you do it

 

go to Settings

 

then go to system settings

 

and then go down to format memory stick

 

it will creat all the folders you will need for putting media on the memory stick

You need to actually convert the video files to the right size for the PSP to run, so you should use a program for converting files to PSP such as PSP Movie Creator.

i thort 2.82 was the latest software out

Nah it just came out, and then 3.01 came out a day later.
