Best weapon for Slash TV

I say the combat shotgun, I can beat those chickens pretty easily with it. It's quick for a shotgun so you can give each chicken a nice double-tap to ensure death when they're at long range, and it'll kill them in one at close range. Reloading is quite quick, and the combination of firing rate, 7 shells and the fact you can hit two or three with one shot means you can destroy a whole group within a couple of seconds.

The M4 is pretty good too, but you can't let the chickens pile up on you because that's where it struggles. Good range, but when they get close, the shotgun would be better.

Lots of molotoves works well when you become fireproof after the Firefighter missions. I used the M4 to complete it though.

EDIT: Welcome to the forums, you're new here. smile.gif

Thanks.

I tried the cocktails before but it didn't really work, I need to do those Firefighter missions as you say. I dread doing those in every GTA game, not sure why.

Just tried the minigun, works real good, but it's a bit slow and heavy so if you get swamped you'll have to switch to a lighter weapon and run away. Still prefer the shotgun. I work on the left hand side of the screen, but find it best to run towards them rather than wait, so I have lots of room to retreat.

M4 & combat shotgun are definitely the best weapons for shootouts I think.

Standing in the bottom left corner with a flamethrower also works, no people come out that door. It can sometimes be too slow at turning though. Now that I've completed it I always use the chicken suit. Makes me laugh. biggrin.gif

Just tried the M60... Really easy. Two shots kill, so a nice double-tap each time is enough. Only used up 190 rounds and they couldn't get close. Good thing is, the M60 knocks them over with the first shot so even if you switched your aim before you finished him off, he's on the floor which gives you some time to reset yourself.

colt python. you get it on slash, don't you?

The Python is alright, I can just about get by with it, but I need to do a lot of running and have some close calls. Those chickens take two Python shots each, and it's not particularly fast and has only moderate range. There are better weapons.

I always just use the Colt Python, i don't know why. I just run to the middle shoot everyone around and when they close in, i run to another spot. Simple yet it works for me.

i get one shot kills with the python, but i wish Toni would envest in a speedloader.

You can't be fighting against the chickens then, because they take two shots.

I use various weapons.

The M4 and MP5 are great but they reload after 30 shots which may not be good in later rounds since they take about 4-5 shots to kill those chickens.

The Colt Python kills in one shot and may rarely take two shots. The 7 shot reload really doesn't bother me, though.

The Sawn-Off Shotgun is the weapon I like to use since that and the Chromed Shotgun bullets have the same kind of bullets so you can collect both. The Sawn-Off Shotgun take one shot to kill and the Chromed Shotgun takes two shots but sometimes one shot from close range.

The Tec-9 and Mac 10 aren't great for this side-mission to start out with since they take about 7 or more shots to kill those chickens but they may be in handy when you can't stay in one spot since there are too many chickens after you.

The Minigun takes one and maybe sometimes two shots two kill but it's so rapid-fire, you wouldn't even notice. Since it reloads after 500 shots, this probably is the best weapon to go with. The M60 is great and takes usualy one shot to kill, but if not, like Firebrande said, it knocks them down after one shot so you can focus on the other chickens until he gets up.

The Molotov Cocktails and Flamethrower are great only if you are fire-proof. It makes me laugh when I'm throwing those Molotovs and setting the whole place on fire. lol.gif

Sometimes, I even beat them at their own game by using chainsaws. It works well.

Woo, that was a breather. yin-yang.gif

Rashon, on my game, to kill a chicken it takes:

4 shots with the M4

5 shots with the MP5

1-2 shots with the sawn-off (close/long range)

1-2 shots with the chrome shotgun (close/long range)

1-2 shots with the combat shotgun (close/long range)

2 shots with the .357 Python

2 shots with the M60

2 shots with the minigun

All the chickens seem pretty consistent, none stronger or weaker than others. I don't think I've ever killed a chicken with less than the amount I stated above mercie_blink.gif

Yeah, it works the same with me for most of those, too. I shoot long range with the M60, so I sometimes don't know how much shots it takes. lol.gif

Usually, I just remembered it takes 2 shots with the Colt Python and at close range it takes one shot (I haven't played Slash TV in ages so I don't remember).

The Colt Python kills them in one blow. Yes, the Flamethrower and Molotovs only work well if you're fireproof. It might be harder if you use a weapon that takes more than 2 shots to kill.

If you run out of breath then jump around for a while as it is faster than jogging.

The Colts killing ability varies, the early opponents will drop fairly easily using it usually form 1-2 shots but using the Colt on the chicken suit wearers it requires more than 1 shot to kill them.

Colt Pyhon because with 6 shots the can wipe nearly everyone out so it makes it alot easier.

PS - It can reload very quick.

The colt or the shotgun worked best for me, although molotovs are quite good too if you're fireproof.

Wait, for the chickens, the Colt Python kills them in 2 shots. The M60 and the Molotovs are very useful for making quick kills.

why is almost nobody mentioning the normal shotgun?

it kills in 1 shot at close distance, and 2 shots on longer distance, loads fast enough, and it's cheaper than most weapons...

and I only use one shot for every chicken, since I let them come close before I shoot them..

Probably because the Chromed Shotgun isn't the strongest shotgun but I've really used that the most during Slash TV.

Chromed takes 2 shots(for normal people) it takes 3 for chickens

The Stubby is 1 shot when close but for chicken is 2 shots

The chrome shotgun can kill chickens with one shot at close range. Two shots at long range. It's the same with the stubby shotgun, except it's a bit faster (I think) and is a bit more powerful at close range.

The Chromed Shotgun takes 1 shot to kill at close range for regular peds, and 2 shots at long range. It might take 2-4 shots at the SWAT Team and FBI to get them killed. For the chickens, it doesn't take more than 2 shots at long range and 1 at close range.

I did it with my mac10, make sure you buy like 600 bullets before you start slash tv.

after a while it became boring so I got them following me and blew them all away at once with a grenade tounge.gif
