"White Wash" CUTSCENE Sean enters into the shopping mall office and sees Jamie playing darts with a guys picture on the board Sean: How's business? Jamie: It's still bad (Throws a dart and misses the picture) Sean: What, but how? Jamie: Heath Hunter, that's why Sean: Whose Heath Hunter? Jamie: He owns the Millenium Shopping Complex across town. And they're putting thirty percent off of everything Halloween related as it's coming up next week Sean: Shít, we can't compete with that... guess I'll have to take care of this myself Sean picks up a dart from the table and throws it at the dartboard and nails it between the eyes of the man on the photograph, who is assumed to be Heath Hunter, as Sean walks away and the screen fades to black FADE IN: GAME PLAY A blip appears for the Millenium Shopping Complex across town. A message appears across screen: "Go to the hardware store and grab a chain." Go grab a chain from the hardware store and go outside. Jack a car and make your way to the shopping complex across town and walk into the large floating yellow arrow to go inside. Once you're inside blips will appear for pipes and water maines around the Shopping Complex. Go around and smash each one with the chain. Guards will attack you, but you can easily kill them. After each pipe bursts, water will start leaking everywhere. Burst all pipes and you will recieve four stars. Once you've burst all pipes, the water level will be high in the centre. Swim to a door and dive and exit outside and jack a car or get into the car you were originally in, drive to a Pay 'N' Spray and lose the heat. A blip then appears for your shopping complex. Drive back to it. CUTSCENE Sean walks into the office at the back of the mall to see Heath Hunter on his knees begging with Jamie Heath: Please, I'm ruined, I need this job! Sean: What's going on? Heath turns around and sees Sean Heath: Ahhh!! You're the guy who wrecked my mall!! Jamie: Hahaha, sure you can have a job you little worm. As the janitor! Heath falls off his knees onto the floor, crying into his hands as the screen fades to black FADE IN: CUTSCENE The camera focuses on the shopping complex. Red writing appears across the screen: "Asset Acquired." "Your business will now generate a maximum revenue of £7500 a day." "Be sure to collect it regularly." END OF CUTSCENE Mission Passed! £6000 + Respect +! You're standing back outside of the shopping complex as your phone rings. Press Triangle to answer it Sean: Ray!?-- Toreno (OS): Nice work kid, I mean really, a shot to the head, messed him up real good, saved me the trouble of getting my hands dirtier Sean: You know your time is coming to an end here, right? If you keep searching for me Toreno (OS): (Sarcasticly laughs) I've been dealing with insignificant beings like you all my life. Speed, Johnson, Vercetti, Machowski, Garcia, none of them have ever managed to stop me. One came close, but now, well, wow, gee, I'm the president, I'm untouchable kid, I say jump, they say "how high?". Maybe if you're real lucky, I'll do to you what I did to a kid about your age in 1990... and cut out your tongue. You should of just rot in that jail cell. Your death sentance is almost coming up, not long now, three months? M-hm. Maybe you should turn yourself in... before I do find you. And trust me, I will find you, when you least expect me to. So it's time to go and buy the final asset in Heart City, one of the former Heart Gang's Casino, depending on which gang you chose to work for, it will be your allies Casino. So this time, it's the Ace of Heart's Casino. Go save your game and make your way to the Casino and enter the Green House and press L1 to buy it for £50,000. Sean will walk inside of it, as the screen fades to black "Celebrity Snatcher" CUTSCENE Sean walks into the Casino's office where Arty is sitting Sean: Hey, what're you doin' here? Arty: Checking out the competition Sean: What do you mean? Arty: I baught the Diamond Flush Casino along this strip Sean: Congrats Arty: I don't wan't to make this an evil business rivalry, we're friends afterall, and I know what you're capable of Sean: Probaly a smart plan on your behalf. I'm not in the best of moods Arty: Well, I'm just saying; My Casino will be having special guest appearences by famous pop sensation Louise Hammill, and famous author Bradley Churchill. Also, Dustin Steidman will be there on hand aswell. What do you have? Sean: I have, err... Arty: That's what I thought! See-ya later, buddy... A man comes into the Casino Man: Dick Rogers, couldn't help but over hear that conversation Sean: And what are you? Dick: (Chuckles) I do a little bit of everything in the Casino. Cleaning, working, guarding Sean: Well, what do you expect me to do? I have no idea how to run a Casino Dick: I suggest you beat your 'friend' to those celebrity's, and make sure they come here instead... Sean walks away as the screen fades to black FADE IN: GAME PLAY A timer is counting down from 9.59. There are three blips on the radar for each celebrity. The first one is just about to arrive at the airport, as she's in a plane coming towards Heart City at the moment. So jack a car/bike and make your way to the airstrip. When she lands and gets out of the plane, run over to her. She's surrounded by heavily guarded security who won't let you get near to her, waste them all and a cutscene will play CUTSCENE Louise is cowering in fear as Sean stands over her Louise: Please.. don't.. Sean: I'm not gonna hurt you Louise: That's what my daddy said, but he did, he did! Sean: You're going to be playing at the Diamond Flush, right? Louise: Y-yes Sean: You're not anymore. You're going to be playing at the Heartland Casino, and if you no-show... i'll cut your tits off, got it? Louise: Yes! Oh my god! Aahhhh!! Louise starts running away END OF CUTSCENE Now there are two blips left. The next one is in a Limo, escorting him to the Diamond Flush Casino. Get to it and ram/shoot the Limo untill security gets out and fires at you. Waste 'em CUTSCENE Bradley Churchill cowers in terror out of the Limo Bradley: I never thought... it'd end like this Sean: Nothing is ending, apart from my patience. You're not going to the Diamond Flush Casino. You're going to the Heartland Casino. Got it!? Bradley: Alright! just don't shoot me Sean fires his gun into the air Sean: Now go! Bradley: Aahhhh!! Bradley starts running away END OF CUTSCENE The final blip appears on the radar, for Dustin Steinman. Dustin is a daredevil stunter, and he's getting some practice in at the ralley stadium before he has to go to the Casino to perform. Make your way there and enter the blue marker CUTSCENE People start running away in terror as Sean enters the stadium Ped: It's Sean Wood! Ped #2: Run for your f*cking lives! Ped #3: Everyone for themselves!! Aahhh!! Sean walks over to Dustin, who stops his bike and can't realise why all his fans have left Dustin: Where are you guys going?? Dustin looks at Sean Dustin: Oh no, not you! Dustin starts speeding away, and Sean hops onto a parked Sanchez as the screen fades to black FADE IN: GAME PLAY Dustin's already quite far ahead of you. You can't let his trail get cold. You've gotta first of all go around the race track, then over a ramp, across a support beam, and through the open roof outside of the stadium. This will probaly take a few tries, but remember; don't let the trail grow cold. Once you're out, you can follow him fairly easily, and catch up with him. Once you've caught up with him, either punch at him whilst on your bike (Circle) or if you still have that chain, you can swing it at him (Circle). He'll fall off the bike and a cutscene will roll CUTSCENE Sean has been walking with Dustin's lifeless body over his shoulder for a while, as he reaches back at the Casino and goes inside, where a huge party is taking place, as Sean drops Dustin to the floor, and Dick comes over Dick: Looks like you went a little rough with him Sean: Sorry Dick: It's alright, he'll wake up soon enough, good work Sean walks away as the screen fades to black FADE IN: GAME PLAY Mission Passed! £10,000 + Respect +! For one, Art of Noise is anything but Techno, especially not Techno as it is in 2007. They are more of an 80's New Age. Actor: My eyes burn!!! Dick: Bloody idiot (Continues wiping the actor's eyes) Sean: Everything OK? Dick: No. We're not making enough money Sean: I'm not bullying anymore celebrity's into coming to our Casino... Dick: You won't need to. The Diamond Flush Casino is transporting their machines to their headquarters, and you're going to have to raid 'em Sean: I dunno, Arty's a friend... Dick: 'Arty' is competition, Sean. This is business, now come on, go go go The screen fades to black as Sean walks away. FADE IN: GAME PLAY Two blips appear for the vans. One blip appears behind the Casino. It is a Sea Sparrow. Get inside of it, and take to the sky. Hunt the vans down and fire at them untill they explode CUTSCENE Sean lands the Sea Sparrow and Dick pulls up in an Admiral Dick: You idiot, you blew up the machines! Sean: Don't worry (Bends down to the flaming wreck) they're all coins Sean picks up a coin and it burns his hand and he throws it into the air Dick: I'll guard it, let it cool down, then we'll load it up and get outta here END OF CUTSCENE A meter appears for Dick's life and a 'Full' meter. Dick will start picking up coins in a sack, after a while, a radio is heard from inside the Sea Sparrow Radio (OS): We've got a 10 77. Everyone move in You now have three stars. Take out the cops that come untill Dick is done filling the coins into the sacks and putting them into his Admiral's trunk Dick: I'll take 'em back to the Casino, watch my ass! Dick gets into his Admiral. He begins driving. Get into the Sea Sparrow and make sure he arrives at the Casino in one piece, you need a cool head and a good aim to take out all of the Police Car's after the Admiral, and it drives pretty slow, as it has nothing but sacks of coins in it. Once you both arrive back at the Casino, a cutscene rolls CUTSCENE Sean and Dick enter into the Casino to see Arty standing in the lobby Arty: Sean, what the hell? Dick: Get outta here you little idiot Dick slaps Arty in the face as Sean throws Dick to the ground Sean: Stop it, I wan't us both to get along, no more of this petty sh*t. I wanted this Casino to be legit. Have a few drinks, play a little blackjack, watch a stripshow from time to time, that's all Dick: Sorry, Sean. But jesus, I think you've broken my tailbone Arty: I'm sorry aswell, I didn't mean to antagonize you with the celebrity thing Sean: It's cool. I've just got alot of heat coming down on me right now, and I feel things are about to get very bad, very quick The screen fades to black CUTSCENE The screen shows the Casino. Red text appears along the screen: "Asset Acquired." "This business will generate a maximum revenue of £10,000 per day." "Be sure to collect it regularly." END OF CUTSCENE Mission Passed! £5000 + Respect +! We're almost at the end of the rope now. If you haven't baught Johnny's old Mansion yet, go and buy it now. There will be an "SW" icon there. Get to it, and enter the blue marker inside of the living room. CUTSCENE Sean is burnt out. Laying on his couch and trying to nap. The news is on, and he turns his head to the TV, barely opening his eyes, almost just listening to it Reporter (OS): As 2008 approaches rapidly, Sean Wood is still at large somewhere in Heart City. President Toreno is making arrangements to leave Green State, after a revelation came to light, of a problem back in America Sean sits up and starts paying attention Reporter (OS): President Toreno is depending on our fair state of the capture of wanted murderer Sean Wood. He was quoted as to saying; "I have all the faith in the world in Green State, and England, to capture Sean Wood." We look foward to having President Toreno back sometime in the near future. Back to the studi-- Sean turns the TV off and runs over to the phone and dials it Sean: Come on, answer.. answer.. ANSWER! Roberto (OS): Sup holmes? Sean: Everything smooth at the Dam!? Roberto (OS): Yeah, but the Wasteland's are real messed up, bro Sean: Saint's hit the spot again!? Roberto (OS): Yeah Sean: Alright, we haven't got much time. I'll round up some Rejects and start fighting for the Wasteland, you need to make thousands and thousands of copies of everything at the Shopping Complex in Heart City. I'm depending on you for this, and in return, the Saint's will finally be history in this town. I've just gotta get my hands on the location of Ryan, and we're good to go. Thanks for reading, it's been neat. --- You're gonna need money, and ammo. Lots of ammo, preferably an M4 and Rocket Launcher. If you can't do it on your own, round up some Reject gang members located at the Dam in New Stanford. Half of the Wasteland's have been covered Blue for the Saint's Gang colour. You must take the entire city back, just like CJ had to do in Los Santos. Once you've taken the final street back, a cutscene will roll CUTSCENE Sean stands over a bloody and very battered Saint's Gang member Sean: You ready to talk yet? Gang Member: (Coughs up some blood) You're f*cked, kid... dead The Gang member passes out from the pain as Sean's cellphone rings and he answers it Sean: What!? Joanne (OS): Don't take that macho attitude with me, puto. Seems you did a number on the Saints, and someones been squeeling. Probaly that little weasel radio host Q Whack or some bullsh*t. Ryan's in the country side, where the Yakuza used to have dealings going on. In a warehouse deep in. Sean: You and Roberto finished printing all of that stuff off? Joanne (OS): Yeah Sean: Transfer it all to the storage garages behind the Dam in New Stanford, and I'll deal with that now Joanne (OS): No! You made a promise to take down Ryan! Sean: Alright, alright, meet me at the club in Gadebridge City. We'll finish this off once and for all Sean hangs the phone up and puts it away. An "SW" icon appears at the club. Save your game and make your way to it. This is the end, the final mission - split into two-parts, much like the mission in San Andreas. So you'd better stock up on guns, and make your way to the club and enter the marker outside of it, to begin the final mission. "Toreno's Last Flight" CUTSCENE Sean walks into the club, where he sees Gary, Joanne, and Roberto Sean: Everybody geared up? Roberto: Sure am, holmes Joanne smirks, holding a Rocket Launcher Sean: Alright, let's go and take care of Ryan Sean leads everyone out of the club as the screen fades to black FADE IN: GAME PLAY A blip appears on the radar for the warehouse in the countryside outside of Gadebridge City. Jack a 4-seater car or get into a Limo parked outside of the club and drive your way out to the countryside, a radio message will play along the way. Reporter (OS): President Toreno is making preparations to leave Green State today, to return to Capitol City, leaving Green State's officials to search for wanted murderer Sean Wood. We personally thank President Toreno for being with us from July to November, long on this treacherous hunt. Joanne: That was intense, hearing your name on the radio like that Sean: sh*t, I can't believe I'm gonna lose him Joanne: Sorry, but you know; this place comes first. This is home for you now Sean: You're right, and soon people will know the truth anyway. The in-game chat stops there. Make your way to the marker outside of the warehouse and a cutscene will roll CUTSCENE Sean, Joanne, Gary and Roberto get out of the vehicle you were in and a Saint's member stands on the roof with a Heat-Seeking Bazooka Gary: Look out!! He fires it, and everyone jumps out of the way, as it blows the vehicle up END OF CUTSCENE Kill the Saint's member before he has a chance to reload and do that again, and make your way into the Warehouse CUTSCENE Gary: (Looking around) This place is f*cking huge, everyone split up? Roberto: Yeah Sean: I've been here before, someone should stick with me. I know my way around Roberto: Alright, I'll stick by you, holmes Joanne and Gary run off in different directions, as a Saint's member comes out into the large hallway Gang Member: You really think you're makin' it to Ryan, little boys!? The Gang member lights & throws a Molotiv Cocktail which starts burning the room down. He runs through the door to the other room. END OF CUTSCENE Carefully make your way around the fire and broken building parts, and into the second room, where dozens of Saint's members are. A health bar appears for Roberto Roberto: sh*t esé, they're everywhere Sean: Stay cool and more shooting!! More shooting, Roberto! Waste all of the gang members and continue on until you reach some stairs. Go up them onto the second floor of the warehouse. Into the next room, there are a dozen more Saint's members. Waste 'em all and keep moving. The next room is a small room, packed with them. There is armor and health in the middle of the room, but you'll have to fight your way to it. Once you've killed them keep moving until you reach the end room, and a cutscene will roll CUTSCENE Sean and Roberto enter into the room where Ryan is with some Saint's members who are guarding him Ryan: Your little tirade against us ends here, nigga Sean: For the record; I didn't kill your brother, but I wish I had END OF CUTSCENE Ryan: Boys, take these clowns down Kill the six remaining Saint's members in the room, who are armed with M4's. Once the last one dies, a cutscene will roll CUTSCENE Roberto shoots the last Saint's member, and Ryan grabs the Katana Sword from the strap on his back and lunges at Roberto Sean: Look out! Sean starts firing at Ryan but misses every shot, and Ryan stabs Roberto in the chest. Roberto throws his gun into the air, and it goes out the small, open window as his body hits the floor. Ryan looks at Sean, Sean with gun in hand still Ryan: (Lets his eyes shift to the door and he smiles) Have you ever noticed how It's tha' person you'd least expect to betray you? Sean quickly turns to the doorframe, only to see it's empty, and Ryan quickly dives behind a table before Sean can shoot him Sean: (Trying to fire but out of ammo) Shít... Ryan: You know what that clicking sounds like to me? It sounds like you're done in this town, nigga Ryan gets up from behind the table and lunges at Sean with sword in hand, as gunshots are heard, and Ryan gets shot in the chest three times. He drops his sword and drops to his knees, blood begins running from his closed mouth, as the camera pulls back and shows Gary standing in the doorframe with a 9MM Pistol. Gary: (Walks over to Ryan) That was for me, and this is for my brother: Gary puts a final bullet into Ryan's forehead, as the impact sends his body tilting backwards, as Sean drops his ammoless gun, and Joanne comes into the room and sees Roberto dead on the floor Joanne: (Puts the Rocket Launcher down) Oh no, no, please don't be... Joanne runs over to Roberto and turns him over and runs her fingers through his hair Sean: I'm sorry... I tried to save him Joanne: (Tears running down her cheeks) It's okay... Gary drops the gun and rubs his eyes, then puts his hands on his head and looks at Joanne Gary: Come on, let's get outta here Sirens are heard in the closing distance Joanne gently puts Roberto's head onto the floor and closes his eyes as Joanne gets up and leaves the room with Gary, both of them emotional. Sean sits down next to Roberto's dead body, saying nothing, just staring into space. After around twenty seconds, gunshots are heard downstairs. Sean rapidly shoots up to his feet in shock, and sees Toreno standing in the doorframe with a black dufflebag, and a .357 in his hand. Toreno: You had your fun, kid. And I told you; I'd get you when you least expected it Sean: What the hell did you do you Joanne and Gary!? Toreno: Who, me? Nothing, but the same can't be said about the agents downstairs. Now, I've got a flight to catch, and as for you, I think you've got a flight to catch aswell (Laughs) but we're not going in the same direction. Oh, and thanks for all those documents in the garages. They'll never see the light of day again (Shakes the black dufflebag a little and then stops) Toreno pulls the hammer back on the .357 and aims it at Sean Toreno: Goodbye, Sean Wood. I made the right decision coming after you instead of Roberto Garcia. At that moment, a huge explosion is heard, and the ground shakes. Toreno stumbles and mis-fires, as a Rocket flies past him. The camera cuts to the hallway, where a bloodied Joanne is running at Toreno, reloading the Rocket Launcher. Joanne: (Screams) Sean! Get outta here! An agent runs behind Joanne and grabs her by the neck and snaps it. She drops the Rocket Launcher, as Sean runs over and punches the agent in the face, as the agent falls over and Sean grabs his MP5. Toreno makes a break for it and runs down the hall Sean: Are you OK?, Joanne?... Joanne!? Sean realises she's dead, and lays her head down gently on the wooden floor, as the agent begins getting up. Sean shoots the downed agent and picks up the Rocket Launcher, and clenches it hard as the screen fades to black FADE IN: CUTSCENE Toreno is running through the rooms, past all of his agents, and runs outside into a chopper Toreno: Go, come on, get outta here! END OF CUTSCENE The sound of the chopper is heard outside. Make your way back through all the rooms and kill the agents along the way. You should have to kill about 30 agents, each with MP5's. You have fifty rounds of a Rocket Launcher in your weapon inventory now, for the second part of the mission, so don't waste them. Make your way out of the warehouse, and a cutscene will roll MISSION PART TWO: CUTSCENE Sean runs out of the warehouse and sees Toreno taking off in the chopper and fires a Rocket at it, but misses, as FBI cars cover the spot END OF CUTSCENE If you fail from this point on, you can continue on. FBI Agent (OS): Freeze! you're completly surrounded! The chopper stops and hovers around above the FBI cars The smartest choice here would be to take out the FBI agents and cars with a blast or two. There will be an automatic spawn of a Saint's Sabre gang car at the garage. Get into the car and begin following the chopper, which takes off after you fire a Rocket. You have Five stars now, which are all un-losable. Follow the chopper and make sure you don't lose it. It stays pretty low to the ground sometimes, and sometimes stops, and Toreno fires down at you. These are your chances. When the chopper stops the first time, get out of the car, make sure you have enough time to fire a shot at the chopper without being wasted by FBI agents carrying M4's. Be careful not to get run over aswell. Aim at the chopper and shoot it, it'll shake a little bit, then continue flying away. Get back into the car and follow it. If your car catches fire, you'll have to quickly get out and get into a new car, so it's probaly a good idea when your car takes alot of punishment, and you see a good car stopped at traffic lights, to get out and get in quickly. You can do this as many times as you want to. On the second stop for the chopper, it'll stop and agents will fire at you from it this time. Get out of the car and fire at the chopper, and the agents will fall out of it. Kill 'em or get back into your car and continue speeding after the chopper. It'll stop in the Downtown area next. Get out and shoot at it again, but be careful of the FBI cars/agents. Toreno's chopper won't move untill you hit it, so you have some time to aim the Rocket Launcher at a group of FBI cars, or just one that's coming right for you. Shoot at the chopper again and it'll start smoking, and it'll continue moving. This time it'll be going slower, over the Heart City bridge linking Downtown to Heart City. Be careful here, as there is a large FBI roadblock. Drive ahead of the chopper slightly towards the roadblock, get out of the car and take aim to the roadblock FBI Agent (OS): Sean Wood, you are surrounded. Put the weapon down and give up now! Waste the FBI road block, then the chopper will keep moving, much faster now, without giving you a chance to shoot at it. Get back into the car and keep driving after it, it'll stop again in Heart City. Get out of the car and shoot it once more. It'll start smoking heavily, and shaking slightly. After that last blast, your wanted level has been boosted to six stars, all of which are un-losable. Watch out for the Tanks & Flatbeds, and watch out for the soldiers and FBI agents. The next time it'll stop at the New Stanford gates. Quickly get out of the car once again and fire at it. This time it's going to back-track, so reverse the car quickly, careful of Tanks around, and keep going after the chopper. It'll be a while before the chopper stops again, but eventually it will, just above your mansion, that Johnny used to own. It will fly towards the back of the roof, giving you the slip to shoot at it from ground-level, so get out of the car, take out any FBI agents or soldiers around and run up the steps of your mansion and inside as the screen fades to black. FADE IN: GAME PLAY You're inside of your mansion, where a Health icon is. If you need it, which you probaly will, grab it and make your way to the roof. Once you've ran up onto the roof, agents will be all over the place, and Toreno will start shooting at you from the open doors of the chopper. Aim the Rocket Launcher at the agents and quickly take them all out, and then at the chopper, and give it one final blow. The chopper will explode and Toreno will be sent flying out of it as the screen fades to black. FADE IN: CUTSCENE Sean is walking towards Toreno's body, as snow begins falling from the sky above. The black dufflebag Toreno was carrying has been torn open by his body, and all of the paper is flying through the air, landing all over Heart City. Toreno is coughing up blood, with a huge burn mark on his back, burnt through his black suit Toreno: (Coughing) You can't do this! I'm... I'm President... Sean: I can do this. I have done this. Toreno: (Coughing) I... should of taken my chances... with that whack job Roberto... Toreno lets out a groan as his body goes limp. Sean drops the Rocket Launcher and walks away as the screen starts slowly fading to black. FADE IN: CUTSCENE The camera is showing the huge devestation to Heart City, with firefighters trying to put everything out, as a Reporters voice is heard over the stuff that is happening on the screen Reporter (OS): November 16TH, 2007. A day that will ring in the hearts of true patriots of the world, as The President of the United States was found dead on the snow-topped roof of a mansion here in Green State earlier today. Investigating teams are claiming he was murdered. A press release was issued by former Vice President, now President Donald Love, and quoted as to saying; "I'm as shocked as everyone else. Nobody could of ever seen this coming. Michael Toreno was a good man, a good, good man." They found a Rocket Launcher at the scene of the crime, and seem to believe Sean Wood was behind the mur--... wait, wait, I'm being informed of something... The camera cuts to pedestrians, and officials, reading all of the papers on the streets of Heart City with shocked expressions on their faces, as the camera then slowly fades to black The song "City of Devils" by Yellowcard begins playing, as the camera cuts in, with scenes of Green State as the Credits roll. Once "City of Devils" has been played, "Tale of the Runaways" by Maylene & The Sons of Disaster play out the second half of the credits. FADE IN: GAME PLAY Mission Passed! £200,000 + Respect +! A message appears on screen: "Your City Respect has reached Maximum." "Winners outfit delivered to Wardrobe." "The Scorpio will spawn outside of your modding garage." "Total Profit made from Storyline Missions: £445600." You're outside of your mansion. Your phone will ring. Press Triangle to answer it Sean: Yeah? Aaron (OS): I can't believe it. You were telling the truth all along, everything checks out. Your name's been cleared... you're a free man Sean: Thanks. I'm glad I saved your life afterall (Laughs) Sean hangs the phone up and puts it away. THE END --- Alright, thanks to everybody for reading. It's not over just yet, though... Heart City Stories will be released soon. Once I see some comments on this, I'll post a "What Happened Next..." for Sean Wood. Posted February 12, 2007 Share Posted February 12, 2007 Nice m ission, although I would of liked Sean to kill Ryan in gameplay, maybe a fight where you have to press button combinations to beat him in a swordfight or something. I still don't see how a chopper can survive so many hits, buit it was the last mission, so ohwell, Atleast it didn't suck like LCS's final mission Good Job I pick Gary for HCS! Enjoy, here it is. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________ THE AFTERMATH FADE IN: CUTSCENE Sean is sitting in a chair by a lit fireplace. "December 19TH, 2007." appears in the bottom right corner of the screen. Sean is inside of Gary's house in the Wasteland's, and sitting opposite him. Gary is confined to a wheelchair, and is wearing an arm cast. Gary and Sean are talking and laughing, while other Reject's gang members are wandering around Gary's house. The grandfather clock in the corner hits 9 o' clock, and Sean stands up and shakes Gary's hand Sean: I can't say it's been fun. But, you know Gary: (Laughs) Come on, you know it has Sean: ...Maybe a little (Laughs) Take care, Gary. Stay well. Gary: You know there's always a bed and a cup of joe with your name on it when you're ready to come back Sean: I won't forget Sean walks out of the living room and over to a coatrack. He takes a long black coat from it and puts it on and opens the front door, walking outside into the heavily falling snow. He takes out a scarf and wraps it around his neck and closes the door, then digs his hands deep into the coat pockets and starts walking through the snow, and along 32nd Street. He stops at a redlight and looks both ways before crossing over, and his cellphone begins ringing. He takes it out of the coat pocket and answers it, still walking. He puts it to his ear Sean: Hello? Nobody responds Sean: ...Hello? Sean looks at the phone and sees the battery life is full, and he hangs it up and puts it away and continues on walking. He slows his pace down as he arrives at Joanne's house and looks up at it for a moment and sighs. Sean: I'm sorry, Joanne Sean continues walking as a Dark Red Infernus speeds around the corner. Sean rapidly turns around, looking dead at it. He gulps and realizes what's going on as it evens out and starts speeding towards him, a few dozen yards away. He starts running and turns into an alley, as the Dark Red Infernus skids to a stop and slightly grazes a post from the sleet on the roads. Nate and Loki step out of each side, carrying Silenced Pistols. They slam the doors shut and start chasing after Sean. Sean climbs over a fence and starts running past Roberto's house and looks behind him, and sees Nate and Loki catching up on him, as they both jump over the fence at a quicker pace than he did. Nate fires a bullet which skims by Sean's ear and he dives through the nearest thorn bush, cutting his hands open. A plane ticket falls out of his coat pocket, along with a photo of Joanne. He gets up and continues running as Nate and Loki cover their faces and jump through the bush and continue chasing after him. Sean makes it to a 'Mexaco' gas stop and Loki fires a shot at him, catching him in the shoulder, and the bullet smashing the glass of the gas stop window. Sean runs through the door and tips over a shelf and continues to run through to the back door and continues going, no idea of where to go as Nate and Loki run into the store and jump over the shelf, as the store clerk cowers in the corner. Sean quickly takes his cellphone out and starts looking foward and nodding down to his phone as he looks through his contacts list. He reaches Gary's name and dials it Sean: Come on, pick it up! Sean gets Gary's voicemail and takes a quick left into an alley and sees a construction site is underway, with a few cement trucks. Sean tries to open the doors of each one, but each one is locked. He smashes the window of one, and sees Nate and Loki stop at the top of the alley and look inside. Both of them see him. Sean watches them start running down the alley then turns around and climbs onto the cement truck and jumps up a large wall and starts pulling himself up as Nate and Loki start shooting at him before he has a chance to pull himself the full way over. They hit Sean in the back numerous times, and Sean drops down from the wall and falls over onto his back, as Nate and Loki walk over to him. Sean tries to get up, but his body is completly drained, and his blood covering the white snow in the long stretch alleyway. Nate and Loki slow down their pace as they get closer to Sean, seeing that he can't move. Sean is breathing heavily, as is Nate and Loki. Sean looks up at them with his eyes fading in and out of conciousness, and begins raising his left hand with the remainder of his strength. Nate and Loki aim their Pistols at him, and see he's not reaching inside the coat pocket. Sean flips them off and laughs. Sean: f*ck you... f*ck the Yakuza... f*ck Cari... and f*ck Su-- Nate and Loki both fire rounds into Sean's body. Only sound of families singing Christmas Carols over the other side of the wall in nearby Gadebridge City. Nate and Loki put their Silencers away and start walking back to Nate's Dark Red Infernus a few blocks away. Loki: You wanna go grab a sandwhich or something? Nate: Yeah. I'm pretty hungry Loki: Can I drive back? Nate: No Loki: Aww, c'mon Nate and Loki turn into the garage and both Nate and Loki notice the cowering store clerk in the corner. They look at each other, then take their Silenced Pistols back out and shoot at him. He falls back into the drink stand, dead. Loki steps over him and grabs some sandwhiches and drinks from the shelf and tosses some to Nate, as they both walk outside. Sean, lays dead on his back with bullet holes all over him. It's not a story in th usual format (which is not a problem) and generally I find concepts to be pretty poor, and I don't enjoy reading scripts. The problem is character. So little is revealed, and the format is a little detatched for my liking But, saying that, I found this easy to read. I could see it playing out, and although sometimes it might be considered poor writing, the informal way you e written it i find quite refreshing - all that's missing is a pint in my hand in the pub, because that's how it feels; like a friend explaining it to me I do have the feeling however that if this was 'expanded' (for lack of a better word) into the usual prose format, it would be even better but it would be unfair to say its not good. I'm aware it's old and youve written a lot since so I won't do a line by line thing. A few things however: - this is set in England, is it not? (I'm only up to the prison break an felt this a fine time to reply.) The reason I say that is because it feels very American - terms like SWAT for example, are distinctively American. At time I'm confused : is it in the USA or uk? Simple speech patterns would help this; 'mate' for example, or mentioning English towns/counties etc. accents too and other archetypes As you said, there are a few spelling/grammar errors but as this is old lets ignore them A word from a 'gameplay' perspective: I think the prison 'intro' would restrict the players a lot, and some may get bored. What other side activities are there inside? What 'freeroam' (ironic I say that) possibilities are there? Money I see has already been addressed, so ill leave that Back to a story point of view. I love the prison setting; it's a perfect way to get to know our protagonist. As mentioned above, in a 'normal' story we could see into his mind a lot and prison is the perfect scenario for that. By the time we break out, we'd get to know him, so well done on that I'm enjoying what I read so far though I find myself wondering over the overall setting.. I see the word wasteland mentioned. As I'm not that far into it perhaps it'll be explained but what's the dead - is it post apocalyptic? Or Marshall law state? Anyway ill update this or reply again with further thoughts. It's old but I look forward to reason up to the other stories! The only true wisdom is in knowing you know nothing.
