Demarest
no what folder in san andreas folder e.g data, audio, models etc. I wouldn't download things into your SA folder. It's for your game. Again, it's of no concern to us how you manage your PC.

Starion
what folder do i save downloaded mods in to? You can save mods anywere. But I think you mean were do you install them. Im gonna give you a quick quide: You will need: img tool notepad(most of the time anyway) How to do it: You open up the folder you downloaded (after unzipping it if its an archive) You open the readme You then open up your gta sa folder (wereever its installed) You then open a folder called models You then open up the archive named gta3.img with a program called img tool, this can be downloaded from gta tools.com. You then find the name of the car or thing you want to replace, click replace with img tool then search for your downloaded files. Replace both the dff and txd (some times it can just be a single dff or txd mod so dont worry if one is missing) then rebuild the archive and then voila! your not done yet. In the readme file it most probably listed some lines of code. To use these you simply go in a folder named dta in your gta san andreas folder and you look for the text file that the readme shown. You then search for a peice of the line of code you want to replace with notepad, then you highlight the line you want to replace, delete it and then paste the line the readme instructed you to use. Do this with each file in the data folder which the readme told you to use. Then open up the game and see what happens! Hope this helps and this should really be moved to editing discussion now. mod it with Nitrous Oxide and chassis dyno.
