If i'm not mistaken, the "cane" is supposed to be a crowbar? I also remember the sound it makes . And also, an AK-47 is up on a roof in downtown that you can acess from a ramp of somesort ,ive used it.

I agree with you, it is a crowbar.

A cane/crowbar thing is available on the long dock near the garbage dump, near the staircase. and i don't know if this means anything, but for instance look at the "cane" picture, and you'll noticed a pointed end, but the icon for it looks very similar to a cane. And also, a Machete is located on a basketball court in the middle of a block in Little Havana.

@Saintdave, I dunno where the camera location you mentioned is. Can you explain a bit more?

 

I cant I’m afraid I was borrowing the game and a PSP as I don’t own one personally and had it most of last week. Without having the game myself it’s hard to be specific where it was exactly.

 

Luckily I did write down a few more weapons locations, my apologies if they have already been mentioned.

 

• There is a Mac on Diaz’s back porch.

 

• Remote Grenades are on the diving board of the hotel near Vice Point.

Some armour locations:

1. On the little red bridge just south of the junkyard

2. In Little Haiti in the courtyard up the stairs at the hotel directly north of the start of the bridge to the golf course.

3. On top of the building with the biker bar where you took missions from Mitch Baker in Vice City.

 

 

Grenades: Ok, this is tough to explain. On the map in Little Haiti there are two green squares. The top one is where Auntie Poulet lived in Vice City. Go to the southern most one. Then go down the adjoining road that faces south. Past where the sabre is parked, in the driveway of the third house on the right are the grenades.

 

Crowbar/Cane: On the very back of the boat docked in Vice Port where you rescue Lance from in one mission.

 

Axe: On a raised platform in the south-west corner of that area filled with pipes and towers just west of the trailer park where you rescue Lance from the flames in a mission.

 

Shotgun (regular one): On top of the building in Little Haiti where you snipered Cubans during a fight with the Haitians in Vice City. As you come off the bridge from Leaf Links it's just to the right as you start to turn the corner.

 

There's more where that came from, just give me some time to keep looking.

 

EDIT: Ok, we've also got a pistol under the building just south of the dirt track which looks like a U and also has a weird sculpture with a red balloon in it. (It's a bit south of that sculpture).

 

There's also some brass knuckles in the alley just to the west of this building. You can see the alley on the in-game map, it's just north-east of Ammu-Nation.

 

If you take the road on the west of Downtown which has Lance's apartment on it and head north, when you get to the very end where the road turns right, turn left into a little courtyard with some stairs. Go up the stairs and on the roof you'll find a MicroSMG.

 

More armour downtown in the little section of concrete just north of the bridge to Prawn Island between the buildings and the sea.

 

There's a butterfly knife round the back of the fire station downtown, right next to the ramp, north of the fake apartment building (I think that's what it is).

 

There's a regular knife in southern part of the alleyway that's south of the King Knuts with the Unique Jump on the top. It's in the south-west corner of downtown.

 

EDIT 2: There's a flamethrower in the alley on the east side of Prawn island. It's got a red balloon just above it.

 

There's an equalizer on the jetty to the west of the movie studio, where the jet-ski is that enables the Watersports side missions.

 

Another pistol. As you go east from Prawn Island over the bridge, there's a big hole in the wall next to the mall as you go round the corner. Go in the hole and look immediately to your right before the staircase.

 

Behind the hotel just south of the Pole Position Club, just east of where you have a Spas 12 on your map, there's an equalizer next to the pool. Enter the hotel from the East side and go behind the hedge on either side.

The Crowbar/Cane is actually a Gaff Hook. Used for fishing I think... Thanks for bringing that to my attention though!

Landmines? wow, i had no idea they were there. They're like LCSs hockstick, nowhere to be found.

I know you could get the hockey stick in LCS from outside the stadium, on the left hand side of the large staircase. The only weapon I couldn't get without CD in LCS was the machete - I only got it once in that mission where you kill...I forgot her name =p. The oriental lady, when you kill her husband. A**hole, he pulls out a katana and I just minigun his ass

 

Back on topic though, I'm scouting out a few more weapons. Will upload a new map when I've buffed it up =].

The funny thing is if he slashes you with his katana you get a minor injury but if you slash him with a katana he dies

Machete can be obtained outside that mission, and yes, I mean WITHOUT the CD. I got one during Vigilante once. At random times, the criminals will carry them. Although, if you're only doing vigilante for the machete, wait for them to get out of their vehicle before killing them!

Theres one katana on the east island (use the one on my map). It's just behind a bush. Run alongside the building's walls. You'll find it.

Wow, well done ybakker. Guess you don't need my help. No-one's found that camera then? I have a feeling you probably can't get it outside of missions considering you cant save your photos.

Well the topic is a "Complete Guide to Weapons", so putting in rampages wouldn't fit in. If I'm not mistaken though, someone is working on a map with all the red balloons, rampages and unique stunts. Stay tuned

Personally, I think it would be beneficial to add Health locations to the map. I think they're just as important as armour, as I always seem to be losing health from falling off motorbikes/half-drowning when my car goes in. Just a suggestion though.

I think the molotovs deserve a better rating than the normal grenades. Have you used them yet? It only takes one to blow up any vehicle except the tank, if you can aim it right. The tank takes about 5-7 before it blows up. It has a new explosion effect that will knock anyone over that is too close, and that is also what will blow any vehicle up. And on top of all that, if you are fireproof, it has no effect on you at all, except knocking you down.
