Phil O'Donnell. RIP. I met him years ago with Simon Donnelly in a Pub after a Wednesday game (it was away I remember that), only one of them played I think, and they bought me and my father a coke and a pint respectively just because we were Wednesday fans (they were also buying other fans drinks). He was a decent bloke in my book and this will be a massive loss to football, but most importantly to his family.

Villa confuse me, we hold Chelsea to a 4-4 but struggle to beat Wigan 2-1. We survived by scoring two headers. Not looking to good for when ManUnited play us in the fa cup.

Everton had the most possession, played as well as they could, Arsenal just had MUCH more quality. Thats it really.

Moyes said Everton deserved a point, but no they didnt, they let in 4 goals!

@Stefan, one goal was from a corner and the second goal was from a free kick, poor marking on both occasions. I would like to gloat about United's defeat but that will most probably end up with Liverpool getting beat by City.

Can't forget the Merseyside, Manchester and Glasgow derby's they're are usually heated occasions, although i have not actually been to a derby game myself, tickets are to scarce.

 

I think the Tottenham and Arsenal game is the best London derby usually a bit more action.

Not that I have been there personally for the derby but the south coast derby contested between us (Southampton) and Portsmouth is always a heated affair. Has produced some memorable matches in recent years also, good and bad depending on who you support.

Edit: Just been watching the City v Blackburn highlights and it seems City's weak point is crosses as that's how Blackburn scored both their goals and Petrov created both City goals. I'd say Crouchie and Torres upfront then Crouchie can get on the end of crosses aswell as heading the balls down to Torres, then play Mascherano with Gerrard in midfield then Masch can keep an eye on Petrov.

Well I've only just seen Blackburns 'eqaulizer' and I don't think it should've counted, but...

I can't believe that yet again we fail to win a game we dominated. The sooner we get rid of wasteful idiots like Arbeloa and Benyaoun the better. We need to scrap them in favour of some people who are at least able to keep possession.

I think Carlos doesn't 'belong' at Old Trafford. Sure, he's a great player for Argentina and I can't doubt his abilities and skill, but he gets in the way too much. Everytime we lose the ball up front, it most likely involves him. He's not a play maker (like Torres; good scorer, not really a setter-upper), and for me he looks a bit big. I think he's put on weight since leaving the Hammers. My dad said this to me from the start, but only now I realise it, after watching the match against Sunderland. He wasn't playing ( ), and Saha and Rooney combined beautifully. They were communicating with each other, and Rooney even drifted back into midfield to try and set things up. If Tevez was playing, the score might have only been only 1-0 or at most, 2-0.

 

It's also funny that in his comeback game, we lose to his old club.

 

If you're asking for Ronaldo, forget about it. Try and make use of Kewell, while you can.

I think they will, I believe they are a selling club at the moment, and nomatter what Ramos says, the board will sell for the right price, I reckon 20Million? they will get something back for Darren Bent who is totally sh*te.

Agent says he wants a move to one of the bigger clubs...Everton dont need him so I reckon Utd or Chelsea...

Benayoun, while frustrating (a la Luis Garcia), provides a touch of flair and an attacking edge to a team that is often otherwise without. That's exactly why he was bought as such - he's Garcia's replacement, if you will. Frustrating as it was for him to try and take on the fourth man in the box when he should've either passed or shot, for example, you still have to see how he has managed to do that in the first place. On top of that, nobody complains when he comes up with marvelous goals or assists - it's just when he makes a mistake that you can be so quick to rush to the axe.

 

Arbeloa, don't even get me started. The lad is quality, and young enough too - let's not forget he's a fullback, not a centre back. He looked nervous today, and wasn't assured whatsoever - but he did his job efficiently enough and made sure we didn't concede. I don't see how you can complain about him, he's an excellent fullback and is clearly the perfect replacement for Finnan in the long run - hell, I think he should be starting over Finnan as it is now, Stevie's starting to show that he's getting past it. Arbeloa? Not so much.

 

Don't come crawling out of the woodwork to complain when the result doesn't go our way. Please, please, don't bother.

Well, Ronaldo is in great form now, and I'm sure no team would be disappointed to have him there. I understand that Fergie likes Tevez a lot, but he just isn't suited to Man. United and is blocking us up. He's like an irritating pimple.
